This was my second visit to the Westin Kierland this year and it once again met my expectations. During my visit in June the hotel was very busy with family travel and attention to detail was excellent. This visit at the end of October was a much slower time and service was good in most respects except for the Club Room - very spotty service.

Dining was excellent at the hotel. Five star restaurant, Deseo, is located in the hotel and should not be missed by guests! Also dined in other areas that were very good. All staff at this hotel were extremely friendly and helpful in every way. Pool and spa area very nice and I thought the golf courses located onsite were exceptional. Staff at the golf shop were helpful and accommodating.

We got in several days early & took the train to the Grand Canyon! AZ has a diverse landscape. We had so much fund exploring the area. Old Scottsdale had great restaurants and fabulous ice cream parlor.
Visited with some friends while there. The hotel amenities were beyond our expectation. Travel bureau and online sites helped us before coming. Especially the train reservations.

We stayed two nights while in AZ for a Flagstaff wedding. We started and ended our trip at this fabulous hotel and resort. We loved it so much, that we purchased another one week stay for a future date. Beautiful!
Expectations exceeded in every way. From the bagpiper at sunset to a fabulous dinner at Deseo, we hated to leave.

The Westin Kierland hosted a large event with over 200 employees for a week and they pulled it off beautifully! The accommodations were excellent and the property and surrounding shopping was fabulous! Whitney and the support team also did a slam up job for our corporation. I will be back for a personal trip very soon!!!

we had a wonderful time at the resort, the food was great.
however we did not get a king size bed as reserved and our room had a view of a rooftop. also when we checked out, there were two different charges on our bill that should not have been there, they were immediately removed however that makes me think....

From the front desk at check in, to the concierge, restaurants, common areas, pool area, golf club, and valet, the Westin Kierland Resort was a perfect experience, start-to-finish. Great for family or romantic get-away!

We were lucky and got a view of the golf course. The room was very clean and the bed was so confortable. The pool, lazy river and slide were also a nice touch to our trip. We didn't get a chance to eat on site but do plan to next time we stay here. Everything that is offered from "Food Truck Fridays" and the basketball courts made us not want to leave.

Located near busy shopping and dining mecca Kierland Commons, the resort has everything you need and more. Beautiful, modern decor and furnishings, fabulous views and don't miss catching the sunset outside on the terrace with a drink from The Rim while listening to an authentic Scottish bagpipe player.

Gorgeous grounds and landscaping. Very clean pool and facilities. We were very lucky and happy to be upgraded to a casita. Quiet, clean, and roomy. This was our second visit, first time stayed at villas. Both are great- resort just a little more convenient. Loved close proximity to shopping.

Your hotel staff was very friendly and extra helpful with daily needs (coffee, etc.) also with restaurant recommendations. Additionally, the frontdesk staff provided guidance with Starpoint questions.

Overall my experience was good. The only problem i had was that i choose to not have my sheets changed all three days that I was there. I thought that they would clean my room but no one came to clean. The wastebaskets were fukl and i had four days worth of glasses piled up when i left.

Would love to have seen the tea being served in real tea pots. A five star resort touting a British ambiance really should be familiar with, and serve tea in true British fashion. Sipping a sophisticated cup of tea whilst also savoring the melodious bagpipes seems fitting. What a treat.

My room was very comfortable. Customer service was great. Food during the meetings & room service was all great. The two employees who delivered my room service were very nice & fast. I was having problems with the safe in my room & security responded within 10 minutes to help.

The service was very disappointing. For every call we made - towels, baggage, linens - we had to call multiple times to get the delivery. Additionally, the front desk failed to deliver a birthday flower arrangement for one of our group to our room for 2 days of our 3 day trip.

Spent a 3 day weekend here with a group of girls. Hotel is beautiful and food was really good. Fresh and tasty, but a little pricey!! Staff were very helpful, although they could do with a more staff by the pool area for drink and food orders!
OVERALL EXCELLENT! Will go again!

This Westin is a perfect getaway! The restaurants/bars, pool areas, & golf courses are all top notch. Couple this with a the resort's location right next to an outdoor mall + world champoinship & it becomes a great destination. BTW, the bagpiper at sunset is a must see event.

Great resort. We have stayed before and always enjoy the time spent. Pool hours (river) seem at bit too short and too many kids in the adult only pool. Resort now has too many fees so you get the idea it is run by Bank of America.... fees for parking, resort fees for ????

Everything about staying at the Westin Kierland was wonderful. While this may sound simple and it is so simple, I really appreciated the friendly nature of all staff. I don't recall one time that a person be it landscaper, spa personnel, housekeeper and the list goes on that didn't make eye contact and say hello or have a quick conversation.
Would I stay again? You bet I would........

The purpose of our visit was to rejuvenate, recharge, and restore our balance and with the engaged staff and fabulous facilities - we accomplished all of that, and more.
We highly recommend trying the Rain Massage at the Agave Spa - WOW!

We had a very difficult check in as it took us 4 hours (from2:30-6:30) to get settled in our room. The manager was very rude to us but the front desk staff as well as housekeeping and valet were very pleasant to deal with.

This is the second time we have been at Kierland, and we enjoyed it so much more this time. Staff was friendly & accommodating, property was beautiful and we enjoyed restaurant at the hotel. The quite pool is a great plus.

As a Platinum guest, all expectations were met or exceeded. The Deseo restaurant was excellent and wonderful to have a real different and unique menu. The staff did everything to make our stay first class.

We had tennis courts reserved four mornings of our stay. For two of them, we had issues that required us to wait approximately half an hour each time while waiting to get a hold of spa staff (which took a REALLY long time), and waiting for the staff to deal with their scheduling snafus (which also took lots of our time). They apologized (twice) but I would have preferred no problems a second time. The staff double booked our courts the second time. An offer of a free smoothie doesn't help.
Staffing needs to be better for the tennis courts - someone should be held accountable and make sure it runs smoothly. The last morning, an instructor seemed to be on one of the courts we reserved, but we'd learned from our mistakes and booked all courts available to ensure that we at least got one, so we didn't complain.
The hotel was otherwise fine, the pool food was horrendous and expensive (that's a salad??) .
The room service food was decent and service was very prompt.
The location is great.
The IT department is also excellent. They helped us with our internet connection promptly and with great service.
