Rated 3 out of 5 by jgbond13 Great View
Great views from the hotel and attentive staff. Outstanding staff in dining facilities. Clean rooms. Preferred members will have rooms with great views but sun will cause them to be warmer than average.
If you are going for a conference, be prepared for a long walk from room to conference area. Also, there are 3 WiFi zones which will cause problems if you walk between conference area, lobby area and guest room area.

Having frequented this resort many times in the past, it has clearly declined for our visit which was in Oct. 2013 in these areas:
front desk service,
insufficient lighting along walkways after sunset

Rated 3 out of 5 by JordanJ Great location, but surprise charges left a bad taste in my mouth
Beautiful facility, not as nice as some of the SPG resorts I have stayed at, but still very nice. *VERY* long walk to our room but only because they put us close to the spa because we were using the spa on Saturday.
Room was nice, bed very comfortable, view very nice. Phone handset didn't work so i had to use the corded phone which was not a big deal. The thing that *REALLY* bothered me was that when I checked out there was 40-50$ in unexpected miscellaneous fees Resort Fee + Parking Fee. On top of that, when I called to question them I was treated very rudely and informed that I had just not read the sign.
I am not a "cheap" person, I have no problem paying for nice meals - buying treatments at the spa etc, but I felt completely Nickel and Dimed here which is why I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Shame because its in a great place for little weekend getaways.

Rated 3 out of 5 by KT33 Nice stay, plan on extra little expenses
The hotel staff is fantastic! I would recommend this hotel on that alone. The spa was very nice, and the food was exceptional!
However, everything has a cost - from internet use, to the fitness center, to playing the piano (yes, I was told that it was $13 for me to play the piano downstairs, where there was no one around). I was shocked and surprised that there wasn't a thing that was included in the stay here.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Alan100 mostly excellent
clean, great environs, excellent food and facilities; main drawback: too expensive, w extra fees for many things that other hotels include; the food at the restaurants and gift shop was excellent, but approx 2-4 times as much as out in town; in-room movie cost $17!; wireless internet $13/d; maybe others are used to this level of expense, but not us. And food for conference breakfasts was only ordinary.

Rated 3 out of 5 by kaz119 Not as good as I was expecting
Room cleanliness was the major issue. reported the issue to management who contacted housekeeping. the problem was somewhat taken care of, but not to my standards. For 2 nights we were plagued by mosquitoes in the room. Had to have the room sprayed twice. Some staff had an attitude of couldn't care less about customer service. The best feature of the hotel was the spa, the staff were very helpful here.

This was my second visit to Wild Horse Pass. I liked it so much the first time that we stayed there the evening before attending a conference in Phoenix. What stood out for me, this time, while I was waiting for someone to assist me at the front desk, a valet came over to see if they could assist - and indeed they could. I really appreciated their effort.
Lovely grounds, great food and fun pool slide.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Linda13 retraining the hotel desk staff
Checked in after a very long flight from the East Coast.,Upon arriving it was pouring rain
when my..sister and I arrived at the Resort soaking wet 3 hours late,,we were not greeted at all by the desk clerk instead he scowled at me. He told me what a bad night he was having and guess what they had cancelled my room. Really? Finally, after a very uncomfortable time I was finally checked in ,
It was very unfortunate that Brandon the agent decided to put his problems out there instead of dealing with me the guest.in a welcoming manner.
The next morning I spoke to Sean the Asst Mgr. He could not have been more helpful a true professional.
Since. he made right with everything I was able to enjoy my 8 days at the Resort which is my absolute favorite place to go
The agent checking me out did not even inquire about my stay..I was surprised bad customer service.
The door men absolutely fantastic!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Veronica Wireless Internet weak in room
Very poor wireless internet service in the room - it was so weak I found it difficult to work. It kept dropping off or diminishing in strength. I checked out at 6 AM and went to Starbucks to be able to do my work. Later the hotel sent me a note apologizing for the poor service. They need to upgrade and improve wireless service if they want to have business customers. We need to work from our room.

Rated 3 out of 5 by NYE2012FireAlarm NYE Prank or Real Fire
We typically do not go out for New Year's Eve but decided to this year with the stipulation that we would stay where ever we went out. We decide to go to Wildhorse Pass and dance at Aria. We got to the room and changed for dinner and then went straight to the club afterwards. We had a great evening and got back to the room and fell asleep around 3a. At 4a, the smoke alarm sounded. This was not a short buzz but went on for several minutes. We stepped outside our room but no one else was around. I would expect staff to advise guests to whether it was a real emergency or not! We ended up walking the halls for a bit and determined on our own that there wasn't an emergency! We finally got back to sleep around 5. Needless to say this was a short night! Smoke alarms are disorienting no matter where you are but especially someplace that is not yours and to not know if there is true danger or not!

I love this property. We stay once a year and I'm always pleased. This was my first time staying on a holiday weekend, 4th of July. It was very busy. The common areas were crazy at times. But the staff seemed to be on top of things. The long lines seems to move fast and quality of service was still there. Aji spa, I visit regularly (love the locals programs). Can't wait to return.

Rated 2 out of 5 by aprilsammy This hotel needs to be upgraded
There was no wifi in the room unless you paid for it. My hot spot device did not work. You had to pay to use the fitness center. The room was dark unless you opened the draperies on to the parking lot. The layout was circuitous for the meetings. I had to ask 2 times to have cobwebs/spiders removed from elevator light. Remote on TV had to be replaced. Remote was terribly slow. Bad odor in hallway.

My wife and I were recent guests at Sheraton Wild Horse. We enjoyed our time at the resort. Staff, pool and amenities were great! The only slight negative was that the walk from the parking lot to the room was a little longer than anticipated. However, I would not hesitate to stay here on a future trip. Walking trails are great and the golf course is beautiful! Overall, a great place to stay!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sapphire2032 Great Hotel but still lacking
This hotel was great overall, only that while on vacation I was hoping that the restaurant/bar at the pool area would stay open longer. I was at the pool between 3:30 and 6PM, at about 5:30 we ask for a drink and we were informed they were already closed. I think anytime before at least 8PM is to early when on vacation. But other than the hotel was great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by apple7 Great Service
The service we received at the hotel was some of the best we have ever had. All of the staff were very friendly and there to meet our needs. We really appreciated Gregory's help with transportation, spa appointments for my wife and eating recommendations. The only negative we had was the a/c in our room did not cool well. They came and looked at it, but could not get it fixed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by stxkate Horrible Room
The staff was friendly and wonderful at providing outstanding service. The room left much to be desired. I am a Platinum level spg member. I was given a room far, far away from the main facilities which did have a slight mountain view but was spoiled by the storage tanks and barns I had to overlook. The grout in the bathroom was dirty and mildew was growing in a corner near the shower.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Tono A little confusing
This is a nice resort but it is a bit confusing to manuever through/around. Getting to/from the self park lot can be difficult if you are on the convention center side of the resort. I really did not like the dark colors and decorations and made the hotel feel stuffy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by PurpleBerry Nice Stay
The resort is very unique and lovely. During our stay, the property's "river" was not in good condition and therefore the balcony in my room was unusable as the smell was terrible outside. Smelled like sewage. Teh service in restaraunts was very laid back and not the best if you were in a hurry; but tasted great. Service at the desk/valet/etc was excellent.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Jen613 This hotel facilities was great for the family but food was not
We enjoyed our stay. We had 3 rooms it was nice and comfortable- we would've ordered a suite but they were all sold out. I was not impressed with the cost of food and the taste of the food. We feel it needs improvement. For the overall cost of the trip for just 2 days we could've flown to Hawaii. I do not think we will be coming back with the entire family.

Rated 4 out of 5 by AAA13 Beautiful Resort
I think the resort is absolutely beautiful. My room was clean and comfortable. I wish I had time to explore the spa and other ammenities offered however, I was denied a two hour extension on my room without having to pay an additional fee so I did not have the time needed to explore more and still have the ability to freshen up before catching my flight.

The Native American focus & design

Quiet, serene, visually stimulating

Limited food choices on long stays
Room & facilities cleanliness (sometimes)
Pool area sparse & lacks shade options

Rated 2 out of 5 by azdiver not worth 100.00 per night
For what the room cost I would have expected more. There was no in room refrigerator (at least not one that could be used for anything besides overpriced snacks). There where lots of mosquitoes and flies in the room (killed about 10 in 3 hours) and the room had a funny smell to it. The grounds were very nice and the staff super friendly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by jackie Be prepared to walk a lot
The design of the hotel requires you to walk long distances and then for some reason they do not connect the floors. That requires elevator rides to get to the same floor on the other side of the lobby. Very poor design and difficult to do business there. Heaven you forget something in your room and you need to walk a quarter mile to retrieve it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ray123 Parking Issues
Parking is inconvenient and as you approach it appears that you are looking at the back of all buildings. Signs are too small to guide the visitors, especially at night. I was told to park at the spa to go to the convention rooms and I am not sure why when there is parking at the convention building and the spa was another 1/4 to 1/2 mile away.

Rated 4 out of 5 by EBLS0911 If only...
Our stay would have been flawless except - We reserved a "Deluxe King" room for a view. Upon check-in we were advised there were no Deluxe King rooms available (We made our reservation well in advance.). The girl at the desk was very kind and when I voiced my concern about my reservation for a room with a view she advised me that wing was closed. She did give us a $50 room credit for the inconvenience.
The other inconvenience we experiencd was with the card/key. We had to have our cards re-keyed several times due to them not working when we would try to access our room.
Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only staffer that was not as friendly as she could/should have been was the young lady working at the coffee stand in the main lobby. She yawned in our faces when we placed our coffee order. Granted it was 6:30 AM but still...
The hotel, pool, room and golf course were lovely and we will certainly consider staying again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by SPTMN Nice hotel - indiffierent staff, no expectation for loyal SPG members
I've stayed at this hotel many times, the staff is consistently indifferent to SPG Elite guests (outside a message to your room a day or two after you check in). If you are a Platinum guest, you may have a 25% chance of upgrade before the fact; if you show up it is very unlikely you'll be offered an upgrade. I've often been towl I've been upgraded to a "Deluxe' room, when in fact, that is what i already booked. A suite is often available for booking on their website and I've made the challenge when checking in, many times denied. Only when continually pointing out Platinum benefits and asserting those benefits you may get an upgrade. I have been upgraded many times, but it is nearly always with difficulty, the evening front desk staff is very uncaring towards elite benefits and often is near rude in one asking for SPG benefits. The service at this property has ranged from outstanding to horrible, is very inconsistent , and has continued downhill over the last three years.
The hotel itself is a great property with nice amenities, it often full of conventions or groups; if you here for a for work it fits the bill and for pleasure it can be a great retreat, but if you are expecting a high level of service or any sort of recognition for Elite benefits, please be advised you shouldn't expect much.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Gamma01 This resort is very friendly and helpful.
We found most everything to our liking. The only problem was a mild one in that the Wi-Fi connections were not always useable when I wanted to use them. I was able to use terminals in the first floor area to do what I needed to do. From my experience, making the Wi-Fi really top rate would take a fair amount of work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by dbowdens A Wonderful Experience
This is the nicest Sheraton we've ever stayed in, and we would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get off the beaten path and relax away from the noise of the city. The staff treated us very well right from the beginning, and continued to take great care of us until we departed. We are looking forward to returning again next year.

Spg gold member about to platinum. Nice hotel but I ran out of toothpaste. They had none. I needed Internet they charged me. On top of that they charge to go to the gym since they don't have a standard one onsite. I am usually so satisfied but not this time. Great pools and trails though
