Rated 3 out of 5 by Beautiful Hotel This hotel is beautiful. They pool is excellent, as is the service. I like that they don't have a life guard at the slide to be a jerk about going down the slide. The only issue I had was the walking. They put us in a room as far away from the elevators or a fire exit as possible. My mother has trouble walking so it was very inconvenient. I probably could have asked for a closer room if I had known it was a maze to find the dang room. August 26, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Peaceful Hotel I was at the hotel on a business trip with a few extra days for R&R. Overall, I had a good stay. I enjoyed the tranquility of the hotel. Our only challenges were housekeeping. Housekeeping came to our room two times and just walked in without knocking or acknowledging themselves prior to walking in. Other than that, everything else was good (except the cool weather!). Great location for a girls weekend (once the outlet mall opens up). March 13, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Wild Horse Pass May 2013 We have been coming back to this resort for ten years. We love the ambiance and the Native American themes that embody the experience. The staff was extremely attentive to our needs from the time we checked in until we checked out 8 days later. I never tire hearing thank you, my pleasure. The only constructive feedback I would offer has to do with noise in the hallways when wedding type events are held at the hotel. We were on a SPG Preferred floor and were subjected to rowdy drunken wedding party guests on our first (Sat.) night. I might suggest that the security team be a little more proactive, policing the halls from time to time to head off hallway partying after events. The guests shouldn't have to call down to the desk multiple times after midnight to get the noise to stop. Having said that, the balance of the week was lovely and we will be back. May 20, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice Stay, but problems with the bill The stay was nice. Weather was great. I attended a business function. Staff was courteous. Very long walk to the room. My only real complaint is that I received a bill for the honor bar which I didn't use and it was locked during my stay. It's a hassle to have those disputed and removed when it should be quite obvious they should be on my bill when I didn't request the key to unlock the bar. February 21, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Poor service This trip was basically ruined by a la k of communication. You have a destination restaurant that I booked months ahead. Your management chose to close it for a staff recognition dinner. I got a note with a mention of the closure without recognition of a confirmed reservation. No return calls or emails and I had to wait to talk to the Restaurant Mgr the night before after getting another confirmation. Extremely un professional . January 4, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Dirty sheets Disappointed that one of the beds in my room was dirty, the sheets had clearly not been changed from the prior guests! Hair, stains, other items made that clear. Staff was very nice, however not one mentioned my being a starwood preferred guest, which normally is mentioned at check in. Fee for fitness center use was outrageously high for a one night stay. Overall stay was just very average. I expected more from this resort. September 2, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing Experience I have to say what an amazing job Erin at the Spa did. She could tell my friend and I had a nice time but were not completely satisfied. She went the extra mile and made sure we were extremely happy. Also I can't remember the Bartenders name in the lobby bar (actually below the lobby) she made me her signature martini which was phenomenal and made special accommodations for my Gluten free diet. Rated 2 out of 5 by Customer Service lacking Stay October 4-9. Arrived at 11pm, no one at the front door to help with bags. Found a roach in the room. All 3 pools were to cold to use. Response form the front desk was" we turn the heaters on next week" One Hot tub to hot, the other to cold. Told the boat to wild horse starts at noon on sunday. 4 calls and 45min later told by hotel employee they made a mistake. Manager refused to provide dinner for two because of mistake October 12, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Thanksgiving Vacation I have stayed here before since they have accessible rooms on the 1st floor with roll in showers and joining rooms. when I called for reservations I had a very complicated request for two rooms for different lengths of stay, one accessible, one not accessible. I was certain they would not book it correctly and I would have to deal with it when I arrived. However, they did an excellent job the first time-no changes necessary. December 1, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful property Fantastic property. Clean. We'll maintained. Like new. Bar staff seemed overwhelmed on Sunday when Kai was closed, Ko'sin was fully booked, and many had to eat in the lobby. Young lady at Starbicks Saturday morning less than happy to be serving me. Although I booked our room months in advance, we ended up with a room with no view, not an SPG room. Overall a wonderful mini-vacation. February 18, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for an intense business conference, not a lot of entertainment features I attended this Resort for 2 nights for a business conference of 500 plus industry professionals. The Wild Horse Pass is a great meeting venue, but lacks access and opportunity for families seekiing family friendly entertainment. Great for meetings no distractions, only two restaurants on any sight seeing must be done via car rental or shuttle to a nearby native american casino. , February 3, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great View Great views from the hotel and attentive staff. Outstanding staff in dining facilities. Clean rooms. Preferred members will have rooms with great views but sun will cause them to be warmer than average. If you are going for a conference, be prepared for a long walk from room to conference area. Also, there are 3 WiFi zones which will cause problems if you walk between conference area, lobby area and guest room area. May 23, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Stay but Bad Dining Experience This hotel is fantastic and a great facility but my dining experiences were marred by the fact that it took over an hour for our food to be served once ordered. The restaurant was almost empty and there was no excuse for the long wait. April 12, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great location, but surprise charges left a bad taste in my mouth Beautiful facility, not as nice as some of the SPG resorts I have stayed at, but still very nice. *VERY* long walk to our room but only because they put us close to the spa because we were using the spa on Saturday. Room was nice, bed very comfortable, view very nice. Phone handset didn't work so i had to use the corded phone which was not a big deal. The thing that *REALLY* bothered me was that when I checked out there was 40-50$ in unexpected miscellaneous fees Resort Fee + Parking Fee. On top of that, when I called to question them I was treated very rudely and informed that I had just not read the sign. I am not a "cheap" person, I have no problem paying for nice meals - buying treatments at the spa etc, but I felt completely Nickel and Dimed here which is why I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Shame because its in a great place for little weekend getaways. May 13, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice stay, plan on extra little expenses The hotel staff is fantastic! I would recommend this hotel on that alone. The spa was very nice, and the food was exceptional! However, everything has a cost - from internet use, to the fitness center, to playing the piano (yes, I was told that it was $13 for me to play the piano downstairs, where there was no one around). I was shocked and surprised that there wasn't a thing that was included in the stay here. November 5, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Sleeping room internet needs work I had no internet connectivity in my room: 1-Weak wifi access point 2- Outdated hotel router 3- Weren't set up for Macs.....? These were all the conclusions of your IT dept. I had no problem accessing wifi in the meeting planner's conf. room. I really like everything else about the hotel BUT please put some money into your IT upgrades!!! P.s. Thanks for the extra points but I would have rather had wifi. November 15, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor Service Paid full rate due to busy Valentines weekend. Unfortunately had a terrible experience with hotel staff knocking on my door 3 times in one morning attempting to clean the room. After the first knock I told the attendant through the door that I'm still sleeping. About an hour later the second knock and then I heard the door opening and someone saying "housekeeping". I said "still sleeping". Final knock an hour later and same response...same result. Had to call front desk to notify of the multiple intrusions. On another note, when I asked for 2 bath robes it took 30 minutes to arrive. And he apologized for having to give me one bath robe that didn't have a belt to tie closed. One of the bath robes was white with Sheraton logo on it and the other (without belt) was just white no logo making me think it belonged to someone else and was pulled from lost and found. We did not use that robe and was just happy our stay was almost over. February 26, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Staff excellence Each and every employee that we met were delightful and always helpful. Your staff had great personalities, and were always very cordial and pleasant. We stayed at the Wild Horse Pass Resort for one week while preparing for the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl. I was impressed by each and every person that worked there. They were all amazing. I will definitely stay there again when given the chance. December 30, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not as good as I was expecting Room cleanliness was the major issue. reported the issue to management who contacted housekeeping. the problem was somewhat taken care of, but not to my standards. For 2 nights we were plagued by mosquitoes in the room. Had to have the room sprayed twice. Some staff had an attitude of couldn't care less about customer service. The best feature of the hotel was the spa, the staff were very helpful here. July 8, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by mostly excellent clean, great environs, excellent food and facilities; main drawback: too expensive, w extra fees for many things that other hotels include; the food at the restaurants and gift shop was excellent, but approx 2-4 times as much as out in town; in-room movie cost $17!; wireless internet $13/d; maybe others are used to this level of expense, but not us. And food for conference breakfasts was only ordinary. November 13, 2012

I liked it so much the first time that we stayed there the evening before attending a conference in Phoenix. What stood out for me, this time, while I was waiting for someone to assist me at the front desk, a valet came over to see if they could assist - and indeed they could. I really appreciated their effort. Lovely grounds, great food and fun pool slide. August 13, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by retraining the hotel desk staff Checked in after a very long flight from the East Coast.,Upon arriving it was pouring rain when my..sister and I arrived at the Resort soaking wet 3 hours late,,we were not greeted at all by the desk clerk instead he scowled at me. He told me what a bad night he was having and guess what they had cancelled my room. Really? Finally, after a very uncomfortable time I was finally checked in , It was very unfortunate that Brandon the agent decided to put his problems out there instead of dealing with me the a welcoming manner. The next morning I spoke to Sean the Asst Mgr. He could not have been more helpful a true professional. Since. he made right with everything I was able to enjoy my 8 days at the Resort which is my absolute favorite place to go The agent checking me out did not even inquire about my stay..I was surprised bad customer service. Rated 4 out of 5 by Wireless Internet weak in room Very poor wireless internet service in the room - it was so weak I found it difficult to work. It kept dropping off or diminishing in strength. I checked out at 6 AM and went to Starbucks to be able to do my work. Later the hotel sent me a note apologizing for the poor service. They need to upgrade and improve wireless service if they want to have business customers. We need to work from our room. February 22, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by This hotel needs to be upgraded There was no wifi in the room unless you paid for it. My hot spot device did not work. You had to pay to use the fitness center. The room was dark unless you opened the draperies on to the parking lot. The layout was circuitous for the meetings. I had to ask 2 times to have cobwebs/spiders removed from elevator light. Remote on TV had to be replaced. Remote was terribly slow. Bad odor in hallway. September 18, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by NYE Prank or Real Fire We typically do not go out for New Year's Eve but decided to this year with the stipulation that we would stay where ever we went out. We decide to go to Wildhorse Pass and dance at Aria. We got to the room and changed for dinner and then went straight to the club afterwards. We had a great evening and got back to the room and fell asleep around 3a. At 4a, the smoke alarm sounded. This was not a short buzz but went on for several minutes. We stepped outside our room but no one else was around. I would expect staff to advise guests to whether it was a real emergency or not! We ended up walking the halls for a bit and determined on our own that there wasn't an emergency! We finally got back to sleep around 5. Needless to say this was a short night! Smoke alarms are disorienting no matter where you are but especially someplace that is not yours and to not know if there is true danger or not! January 3, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Reunion in the Desert My wife and I were recent guests at Sheraton Wild Horse. We enjoyed our time at the resort. Staff, pool and amenities were great! The only slight negative was that the walk from the parking lot to the room was a little longer than anticipated. However, I would not hesitate to stay here on a future trip. Walking trails are great and the golf course is beautiful! Overall, a great place to stay! June 27, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by my stay at wild horse My stay was somewhat less than expected. Upon check in I was not recognized as a member by the staff. There was a large group meeting and it appears that all the attention was on this group. The next morning I waited for well over two hours to get several packages that had been delivered earlier in the week. Here again the staff was asked to get them. It was acknowledged that the packages were on premesis. However, after 30 or so minutes I had to request again for the packages. Apparently they forgot as they were dealing with the large group. After several requests and over two hours I did receive them. There was much noise as there was also a wedding party in my wing. I call security three times the night before reaching almost midnight. Nothing stopped them. The next day they started making more noise at 5:45PM. I called again. This time I was moved in order to accomodate the wedding party. Also, the wireless internet was practically unobtainable and there was no fix so they deducted the cost. Nt a great time. March 24, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Horrible Room The staff was friendly and wonderful at providing outstanding service. The room left much to be desired. I am a Platinum level spg member. I was given a room far, far away from the main facilities which did have a slight mountain view but was spoiled by the storage tanks and barns I had to overlook. The grout in the bathroom was dirty and mildew was growing in a corner near the shower. December 27, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Staycation I love this property. We stay once a year and I'm always pleased. This was my first time staying on a holiday weekend, 4th of July. It was very busy. The common areas were crazy at times. But the staff seemed to be on top of things. The long lines seems to move fast and quality of service was still there. Aji spa, I visit regularly (love the locals programs). Can't wait to return. July 7, 2013
