I experienced very special and precious moments while staying at this hotel with my spouse, enabling us to excite our mind and body. The facilities and services are excellent, with great value proposition. I highly recommend this facility and will definitely find my way back to experience the great services and staff professionalism that the hotel offers.

My partner and I started our 2 week trip to Spain here at the St Regis Mardavall because we could not think of a better way to recover from jet lag than a relaxing stay by the water. My only regret is we did not stay at the resort for more than 2 nights!
I booked transportation with the hotel from the airport and was pleasantly surprised when we were greeted with a Rolls Royce. The airport was chaotic when we arrived so the chauffeured service with cold bottled water was nice way to end the long journey from san francisco. When you arrive at the property, you're escorted to the patio overlooking the ocean and greeted with a “welcome drink” and snacks while they check you in.
We were upgraded to a larger room (assuming this is because of my Starwood status) which, simply stated, was great! The view was incredible and the layout evoked a feeling of serenity. The only design choice I could not understand were the amount of doors in the room which seemed unnecessary.
We planted ourselves on the lower deck of the main pool on the 1st day and I have to say, I had one of the best naps ever! The lounge chairs are so comfortable and sound of trickling water from the infinity pools drown out any chatter from the other guests. Also, the SPA and Gym should not be missed – Every day I looked forward to spending my evenings in the spa – absolutely amazing.
The staff was absolutely wonderful, and because of this, I plan to be back! You know they're all working so hard "behind the scenes". Whatever you need, you get, all without being overbearing.

Ein Hotel, wie man es von der Marke St. Regis erwartet.
Trotzdem ist erwähnenswert, dass die Mitarbeiter außerordentlich zuvorkommend, freundlich und offenbar besonders gut ausgebildet sind. Unsere Kinder wurden vom ersten Tag an mit Namen angesprochen - sie liebten die Mitarbeiter - angefangen vom Portier bis hin zu dem Mädchen beim Kinderpool. Uns selber wurde jeder, aber auch jeder Wunsch von den Lippen gelesen.
Wir sind die besten Häuser weltweit gewohnt. Das Mardavall gehört zu den Top 10% der uns bekannten Hotels.
Die Suiten sind erwartungsgemäß großzügig und sehr schön eingerichtet.
Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt. Das Publikum sehr angenehm, dezent, unaufdringlich, alle Altersgruppierungen.
Ein Essen im Tristan erwünscht? Kein Problem: Mit Freude wird man nach Portals chauffiert und - mit freundlichen Tipps zur Umgebung - vor die Tür gefahren.
Fauxpas von den Kindern (Wand in der Suite angemalt!). Kein Problem, wir malern schnell die Wand neu, Kinder bekommen Malsachen geschenkt. Aufpreis? Nein, das ist ok, es sind ja Kinder.
Kein Strand, aber eine sehr schöne Poolanlage, eingebettet in eine großräumige und reich bepflanzte Landschaft.
Die Nebenkosten, beispielsweise für Getränke, sind happig - hier könnte man etwas nachbessern. Im Gegenzug steht aber dieser perfekte und gleichsam ungespielt wirkend freundliche Service.

This was our first visit to Mallorca and the Mardavall. We stayed 8 nights. From the moment we arrived until we left, everything was perfect. We have stayed in top Hotels all over the world- . The Mardavall is as good or better than any of these. Susan and Sabine at the Concierge desk, Sarah and Amy at the front desk, Roberto and Javier at breakfast and Shirley in housekeping all helped to make our stay perfect. The hotel is not in the heart of Palma but it is away from the maddening crowd and silence is golden. It is a 15 min. walk to Puerto Portals and close to Porto Andrato, Andratx and a quick jaunt to the mountains. 10 min. to Palma. The room was incredible with a beautiful marble bathroom and a view of the ocean. Aqua was great for dinner. Es Fum was very good but the service- 4 hours- took way too long. The breakfast outdoors in the glorious mornings is not to be missed. The gift shop by the pool is wonderful and the Spa is over the top.There is valet parking in an underground garage and free parking on the grounds but there is limited space. Thank you Mardavall for an excellent visit. We plan on returning to your hotel.

please please. I visited your hotel the past two years and some fe more times a longer period ago. we love your hotel, we only have one wish. can you please add the Dutch speaking channel BVN into your TV stations available. that would really be appreciated by your Dutch speaking guests from Holland and Belgium which visit you with big numbers.

My wife and I took a weekend away from the kids Easter weekend in April, for our first visit. We booked a great 199 euro beatthetimer rate on spg. Given this is a category 7 hotel, using 30k points doesn't really seem like a realistic option. And typical room rates seem to be 500 euro plus. So as a Starwood Platinum I wasn't really expecting much in the way of upgrades. Given the promo rate we booked. But boy was I wrong.
We arrived early morning, like 10am. Well before check-in. Our rate included breakfast so didn't get to see what the Platinum option is, but given that checkin isn't until the afternoon I just assumed no breakfast for an early checkin. But they apologized for not having our room ready early and invited us down to breakfast -- an incredibly generous gesture many hotels would not offer. Now I travel a lot and have seen many a buffet breakfast, but this has to be one of the best in the Starwood chain. It has everything you can imagine presented in a luxurious fashion. There is also a patio to eat seaside. Just an amazing breakfast.
Our room was ready after breakfast and we were led by our personal butler to an enormous corner suite overlooking the ocean. Again, had many a Starwood upgrade but this was palatial. The entryway hall was the size of 2 typical hotel rooms. There was a huge living room that could seat like 10 people. A kitchen. A bedroom. 2 bathrooms. And a giant walk-in closet. Has to be one of the best Platinum upgrades ever. Truly makes you value the program. And an enormous balcony with couches and blankets. Below us was a pool suite with private pool -- so not even the best room at the property.
The St Regis is all about their famed Butler service. I'm sure they are willing to do anything you need short of covering up a crime-- but they werent very proactive. I saw something saying they provide unpacking and packing services, shirt pressing and free in room afternoon drinks among other things. But I never asked for anything and they didn't mention it. Again, I'm sure if we needed anything they would have been there for us.
The hotel itself is stunning. Built like a Spanish mansion. The grounds are impeccable. Every detail is taken care of. Beautiful outdoor pool and a great indoor spa and pool (free to use, unlike some other Starwood properties). There is also an incredible kids pool with fountains and a kids club. Next time we will definitely bring the kids. It looked great. There is no beach here, but there is a shuttle and it is close by.
The service is top notch. What one would expect of a St Regis. Staff is happy to help in any way they can. But it goes beyond that. There is no request too difficult.
Upon Platinum late checkout (again, spg resorts not required to grant this), the manager came out to greet me and think us for the business. It was I that should have been thanking him. I was there on a cheap rate. And I did thank him and assured him we will be back.
Finally, note, they have valet parking but if you are like us and rent a horribly embarrassing car to pull up to the St Regis then be aware there is free self parking in back.
This is top of the line in the SPG portfolio and deserves its category 7 level.

Wunderschöne Anlage mit tollen Zimmern und traumhaftem Ausblick. Exzellente SPG Status-Recognition. Das Personal ist fantastisch: Sehr gut geschult, sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Großes Kompliment, insbesondere auch an den Butler-Service! Leider fand eine Privatveranstaltung im Restaurant statt, deren Musik selbst bei geschlossenen Türen noch viel zu laut hörbar war (Entspannung/Schlaf nicht möglich). Dazu kamen einige Kleinigkeiten, die in dieser Anzahl in einem Hotel dieser Klasse eigentlich nicht vorkommen sollten. Daher "nur" 4 Sterne. Trotzdem empfehlenswert!

Bereits das 5.x waren wir im St.Regis Mardavall und waren sind immer begeistert.
Wir hatten jedes mal die gleiche Suite 665 mit
herrlicher Loggia und Blick über das Meer im
3.Stock. Frühstücksbuffet internationaler Standard, man kann alles haben von continental über Bohnen, Würste und Pancacks.
Herrliche Poolanlage innen und außen
SPA-und Fitness-Bereich empfehlenswert.
SPG Kunde seit 2007 - wollte über Mai und/
oder Juni 2012 buchen - nicht möglich
