This hotel is so new that it's not on GPS- if you haven't updated your GPS maps. But don't worry, the hotel clerk was very helpful in directing me (in perfect English) from the airport. It's probably not a hotel you would want to stay if you want to see the typical tourist stuff; but for a business hotel (which is what you should expect from a Four Points) it's an excellent hotel, very chic, stylish, comfortable, well equipped and clean.
The only one criticism (more like a warning) is to not dine at the attached Cosmos restaurant. Quebec City is so full of excellent restaurants that you should not waste your money at this surprisingly mediocre (and expensive for the quality) place.

The hotel was only 10mins into the city centre with excellent parking on site. The shuttle bus service was a super bonus and the tea and coffe available in reception was a nice touch of a morning. The only disappointment was the size of the pool, which was small for such a large site and a hotel that is billed as a resort. The sauna and the other facilities were great but the pool was a let down, especially as the hotel photos don't really convey it's size accurately. Overall, a very good hotel, however.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, in a great location. The staff were friendly however not able to offer a high level of service expected. I booked my room and rate on the internet, and upon check-out the rate charged on my invoice was nearly double. The front desk said he could not make the change/credit, but that the on-duty manager would need to do it - she was not available so I had to leave with the issue unresolved. I have not received the credit so far (4 days later), and now need to chase up the hotel to ensure the credit is processed. Not a great way to end the trip. Desite the rate issue, would consider staying again.

The staff upon arrival was courteous, friendly and very helpful in answering all are questions and booking our trips. The shuttle from the hotel to downtown Quebec is great. We slept like babies and the food was delicious especially the breakfast buffet. We had a very enjoyable stay in Quebec City and recommend this hotel for anyone.

We had a reunion with friends that we traveled with through here 45 yrs ago and
Celebrated their 50th anniversary. The lodging accomondations were excellent and we were able to relax in the comfort of our 2 rooms. The location was away from the bustle of the tourist area but very easy to get to.

A Four Points property that's a Golf Resort and Spa. This is by far the best Four Points hotel that I've ever stayed at. Less than 20 minutes from downtown Quebec is this Gem of a property. So close yet worlds away from the city, the Four Points by Sheraton Québec Resort excels on all levels. Super friendly and attentive service. The hotel decor has the feel of a mountain lodge with a slight level of elegeance. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. The staff on all shifts are very hospitable and accommodating to any requests. The upper and lower level out door fire places bring warmth and charm to the property. Complimentary shuttle to and from downtown Quebec city is an added value. Hotel Bar and Restaurant delivers delicious fares. You can not beat the charm and value of this little resort. Kudos to the Hotel Staff and Management!

Your Front Desk Receptionist(s) should get proper training on how to handle guests with regards to the shuttle bus reservation. We reserved one day ahead and yet we were bumped off not only once but twice!?

....the restaurant experience was not so great. The first morning (on Saturday, June 28) the restaurant was short staffed. They seemed to have a logistical problem as the waiter had to call for some help using her mobile standing in the middle of the restaurant.
Next day was even worse - we had to wait in the restaurant for an hour until we got our food. No one from the staff really seemed to be interested in serving us.
Maybe it was just our experience, perhaps future visitors will have better restaurant experience.
But in overall, it is a nice hotel conveniently located not so far away from the downtown Quebec.

This is a good Starwood hotel. Newer, more up-to=date than a lot of Sheratons we have stayed at on this 45 day trip across the U.S. I had to insist on a king suite upgrade, even though occupancy was obvious low. SPG breakfast was boring , the same thing for all 5 days. Room straightening left a lot to be desired.
French was NOT a problem. I tried my best and they were kind, as everyone spoke English very well.
But you have to know that this hotel is a LONG way from old Quebec, parking there is very difficult and 7 cents/minute if you can find it. The bus is better , but sometimes VERY crowded and can take up to 30 minutes to go the 7+ miles.
Old Quebec is well worth it!!

We stayed on two different nights. The first night was fine. A different room on the second night was not as comfortable. The bed was not good and the shower head kept falling to its lowest position and could not be moved to a new position.

This is a destination hotel. It offers on property Golf, new course. Very sleepy during winter months.
Northern subburb location. Be mindful that Quebec City has serious rush hour traffic. If you have to travel into city or south part of city it is a very congested commute during rush hours.

Rated 4 out of 5 by August Nice hotel to explore Quebec City area
We have used this hotel for a four day trip to Quebec City. It is the only Starwood property near Quebec City. The hotel is located north of the city near a highway and almost all sights are within 30 minutes drive. Be aware that you definitely need a car.
The hotel is basic and simple, but that’s exact you would expect from a Four Points. The spa area and pool were a nice add to the basic level.
I had booked a junior suite which had two rooms (with old screen TV’s?!?). The living room (with sofa bed) and bedroom (queen size) were basic and overlooking the golf course. Bed mattress was good according to our standards. The only thing we missed was a safe on the room. They told us that they have personal safes behind the front desk, but we did not use them.
We only had a la carte breakfast which was basic but not bad, maybe a little bit overpiced. We both had a spa treatment which was good and a very good value for money. Except for a few employees most of the staff spoke well English.

The hotel is nice and clean. I was on the 4th floor(only 4 levels i think this was the spg level) and the room I had was good. Nice high ceiling with a table and sofa. If you have a car this is a great place to stay. Not much around the immediate area, but Old Quebec and other major shopping is less than 10 minutes away. If you prefer to stay in starwood hotels and dont mind being in the city than this is a good choice. The price is actually better when compared to other hotels and areas of quebec city.

Very nice hotel; received upgrade to a nice suite overlooking the course. Very pleased. Sauna, pool area are just lovely. Food was excellent but staff had trouble keeping up. A little out of town but not too difficult to get into. Advertised as providing shuttle to old city however, didn't start running until after we left. Should be careful with this advertising - misleading.

I was expecting a lot more in terms of service and platinum perks. There isn't a complimentary breakfast unless you select that as your welcome gift. Most properties include it regardless of what you select as your welcome perk for platinum members. I found the front desk staff to be a bit moody. I don't think they get many platinum level guest at this property. My room was full of down pillows even though it is noted on my account that I have an allergy to down. When I called to have them replaced, I expected that this would be done after I returned to the hotel later in the evening. Upon returning to the room, I noticed that the pillows were not changed. When I called down to the front desk, they informed me that they didn't have any hypo-allergenic or cotton pillows at the resort. I had to sleep with no pillow. In addition, the spa services were booked when we wanted to make a spa reservation. Furthermore, I didn't notice a welcome note or welcome gift like a fruit basket, bottle of wine or snack upon entering my room. I did appreciate the shuttle service to downtown as well as the room upgrade but despite these two things, I decided to cancel my stay here after one night and book a non-Starwood property. Upon entering the non Starwood property I immediately noticed a huge level of difference in customer service. This is unfortunate as I have a certain level of expectation at all Starwood properties due to my frequent amount of stays at Starwood properties around the world.

The hotel itself is beautiful on the outside but inside it is an average Sheraton hotel.The best part of the hotel is the spa/pool area and the restaurant. The sofa bed mattress was full of bumps and holes as were the blankets. Once we complained we were given a roll out bed which was better. The bathroom shower curtain smelled awful. The staff is very young and not outwardly friendly. Room service was late because they forgot about our order which was placed the day before. Then some items were missing. After we complained the order was corrected. This hotel is 15 minutes from tourist sites in Old Quebec so it is very convenient. It is also set next to a golf club so it is very quiet.

Our main reason for visiting the area was to see the Ice Hotel. We spent 3 nights at the Sheraton and really enjoyed it. We upgraded to the suite and had lots of room. We had heard great things about the food in Qubec--but the hotel restaurant was so wonderful, we had every meal there. The service was impeccable and the food was out of this world. We tried something new every time we dined---and it was amazing each time. Our waiters were fantastic. This hotel is not far from the airport and close to downtown. The hotel offers snowmobliing, which we did and truly enjoyed it! They also offer transportation to the dog sledding adventure. We had already booked this in advance. Overall--we had a great experience at this hotel and would highly recommend it!

This had been the worst Starwood experience for me. The hotel staff did not speak a word of English. We have food allergies, so I asked the kitchen manager about the foods and ingredients she had no clue what I was talking about. I asked about pizza she answered pasta and pastries. I asked about peanut oil she was completely and utterly dumbfounded. It was awful! I finally got a hold of the hotel manager that spoke a little English to help me. I placed a room service order with her and we received the wrong foods. I did not feel confident about the food so we ended up not even eating anything. We were charged $90 for room service but ended up throwing it out! I will definitely not be staying here again. How very disappointing!
