My wife and I were in Carlsbad for a two day business trip. We came back to our room to find that the maid did not replace the shampoo and body gel bottles and for whatever reason, removed the two cups from the bathroom. Otherwise, the room was comfortable and as advertised.

Given the location of the hotel to Legoland, this is hotel by no coincidence is a family hotel. So if you hate kids this hotel is not for you.
The stay was comfortable, the room was very clean and the staff was very attentive. Room service food was great and decently priced.

I mix business and pleasure taking 6 kids with me on this trip. The front desk was friendly and easy to workwith as was all other staff members I came in contact with! The rooms were clean and confortable with very little outside noise. I look forward to visiting again.

Nice Room, beautiful pool area (which was heated to be comfortable in December), and a private entrance to Legoland! Staff was accommodating & friendly throughout.

Not on the beach or walking distance to it, staff that weren't very helpful at the front desk and a barista who asked me a couple of times if I needed room for cream and sugar after I order my coffee black... Not typical of my Starwood experiences, I will not be back.

The place was full of screaming children, but that is because of it being next to Legoland. Don't hold a business meeting here! Housekeeping knocked on my door to roust me from bed late at night with a pile of towels that I did not ask for, then the hotel tried to bill me for a $7 bottle of water that I did not use. I couldn't contact the hotel manager until after 9am... they don't have a night manager? The self-parking is severely limited, or you have to park far away... and there is no covered walk from the self parking to the hotel lobby, or from the hotel rooms to the lobby, making it very uncomfortable in bad weather. Internet service in the meeting rooms was throttled back to dial-up speeds, so when we cancelled our meeting room for the 2nd day so that we could use nearby office space with decent internet speed, they also inadvertantly cancelled our breakfast meeting, making our whole team late that day because the hotel had to scramble to arrange breakfast for us. Our team bailed and went to the restaurant instead.

Greatest asset to this hotel...it's beautifull swimming pool which is open 24 hrs. and away from the guest rooms, beautiful and 3 years old rooms, they still smell and look brand new!!!
Excellent expirience and stay, I recommend this resort to everyonel!!!!!!!

I never expected such a great place & staff! Sometimes when a person stays at a hotel that is "associated" with a resort, service seems lack luster. NOT this Sheraton! From the room, to the staff, to the restaurant and everything in between - TOP NOTCH!!!!!!

Had issues with room servcice and was on the second floor. The family up above on the third sounding like they were haveing a dance contest. Security supposedly went up there to tell them to be quiet but after the third ask finally some quiet.

There "apparently" was a mix up in reservations for both me and a business companion - and four other people who showed up while we were waiting and waiting and waiting to be "helped"
Granted it was later (10pm) but the attitude of the desk staff was "not our problem" They handed us a few phone numbers we could call to try to get a room elsewhere - most of which were fleabags.
I got more help from a person at one of the numbers I found on my phone - he suggested trying two or three hotels in the area that he knew usually had a room or two.
The following day when we returned they said we were on the "pending' list.
FInally on checkout, I asked for an extra hour past their 11 am checkout time - Was told in a rather abrupt way - "No you need to be out of your room by 11 am!"
THIS from a supposed flagship resort.
Serious attitude from people who are supposed to be in the hospitality business.
The only staff who were helpful were the parking valets
If the conference I was attending hadn't selected this place as their site, I would never - ever return.

This was my 1st time there. I was greatly impressed with the facilities and the staff. The restaurant was truly great, good selections and great prices. The rooms were spacious and the mattress was so very comfortable. Hope to try it again.

During checkin the desk personnel do not mention that breakfast is continental only, they ask if you prefer BREAKFAST or additional SPG points. Oh yes, coffee is NOT included so be prepared to pay by the drink, silly as it may seem.

I managed hotels for years, when I stay at a hotel I always check the bathroom first, If it is spotless I know the rest of the room is clean. I was very impressed with this facility
customer service was A-1. Staff was very friendly.

This hotel stuggled with their daily room duties. Cleaning, ample towels and toiletries, Self parking is not adequate unless you want to pay for valet or walk a distance to your room. Evening restaurant service was not good.

I love this hotel. I stay here one week out every month and they treat me like family. Chis and his team at 20/20 are amazing. Julie and Betty in Banquets are the best in the industry and the front staff always welcoming.

We were pleasantly surprised at how nice and beautiful this hotel is when we arrived for our family vacation. Having private access to Legoland as a Sheraton guest was a plus too! Will definitely stay here again!

Business meeting - successful as the hotel staff (sales, catering, banquet, front desk) were exceptional and most accomodating. Facility is clean, convenient to navigate around, and beautiful setting. We will return!

We were using our suite awards and asked for a "suite," top floor with an ocean view, they gave us a "junior suite," bottom floor with HUGE ELECTRIC LINE VIEW!!! They told us at check in it was a golf view, ha!

Laundry service is never done even if i've put the bill (written by me) with my laundries together and it's same over all my stays(four days).. Just maid got my tips only, left the bill/laundry on my desk everyday..Also, even though i complained to Guest service, no answer over 1~2 hours every evening... why??? So, i tried to complain to the front desk, but she just said "NO service" today and tomorrow you can try again... is it the service for Sheraton? I've got many year-experience for Sheraton on China/Korea/..etc..
That kind of service mind is never ever seen.. Parking fee everyday (self-parking) and no enough room for it.
room cleaneness is the terrible, all stuff was kept on my table everyday.. i've regret to putting my tips (1~3$) everyday...
Especially, laundry service is not achieved over all my stays... this is the worst...
Why? I wrote Sheraton Laundry bill and put my laundry in the bag Sheraton wants..
I cannot understand it, by even now..
Carlsband sheraton service is very bad and very expensive than their serivce..
It's the first time for me to get this kind of bad feeling in Carlsband sheraton resort.

Nice, huge resort. Only issue we encountered was the fridge was not working properly so the food (and milk for a baby) all spoiled. We were compensated at checkout though so I have no complaints.

We spent just one night in prep for going to Legoland the next day. The restaurant was handy, and the food good. The very best part was being able to go into Legoland from the private entrance.

Great service & just a short walk to private entrance into LEGOLAND. Room service was very quick - my 6 yr old loved the pancakes!! Pool open 24 hrs. Really enjoyed our stay - thank you!

If you have kids and are visiting LEGOLAND this is the place to stay! Great pool, relaxed resort atmosphere and super-friendly staff. We are returning guests and are never disappointed.

The valets are running all the time, the staff is always pleasant, the rooms are huge and comfortable and grounds are always kept clean. The food in the restaurant is also good quality.
