Rated 5 out of 5 by The right place to stay for visiting Amber Fort This hotel is located 15km north of Jaipur far from the chaos of downtown Jaipur. It is a good location if you are visiting Amber Fort. The hotel is large with a beautiful pool in the middle, and also some apartments in the villas. We had one of those. All furniture in wood, resembling old furniture, with nice taste. A very large bed, larger than King Size, likely 2.2 meters wide. A very large bathroom, with its own garden a natural light, behind all glass windows. A very large shower, and a two-people bathtub in the ground. At the arrival both Prateek (front office manager) and Sandeep greeted us very warmly. Sandeep and his glorious smile were a constant presence throughout our 2 nights stay. Whenever we needed something at any hour, Sandeep was always there helping us ... incredible customer service, excellent! Ritesh and Manisha (restaurant - latest recipes) took good care of us for the two dinners we had there. Thank you. Finally Mantreep at time of check out was so kind and professional. As soon as she knew about our next stop she gave us excellent tips and called ahead so that we could have yet another fantastic experience, thank you Mantreep! October 1, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Staff Service and behaviour was poor! Am a frequent traveler and an end consumer and stayed worldwide in various properties. Also own an event management company and have worked and am working with all 5 star hotels in Jaipur. Recently working for a wedding client was a victim of very rude behavior by the Banquet manager, who probably doesn't realize that this is a service industry and even if something is not doable as per the end clients need, it needs to be conveyed with respect. The fact that he spoke loudly, rudely, as if he was talking to one of his much junior staff members was totally unacceptable. Either he needs to change or people will change the hotels and a hotel that is flourishing due to wedding business would suffer tremendously. January 17, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Cleanliness and Maintenance - A Big Issue I stayed in the villa no 605. Cleanliness and Maintenance was a big issue. Main door lock seems to be quite old and needs extra check before leaving the room. The Bathtub i got is having some dirty water with a couple of earthworms in it. The Flush button was extremely tough to be pushed by even using one hand. Curtains tassel ropes were missing. There were many small issues other then this which makes this hotel to be graded as a 2/3 star category hotel. I have a couple of photographs, contact me if you want to see them. August 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Quality Staff This hotel's goldmine is its staff!!! Their attentiveness to the needs of the guests, willingness to assist and attention to detail is remarkable! I had first-hand experience of the staff in the catering, dining, housekeeping and front office and I was impressed by their genuine desire to answer my queries and ensure my stay in the hotel was memorable. Ms Amrita at the Front Desk and the Concierge couldn't have done more to help me get some much-needed shopping done - I was surprised that the concierge was already on her way home when she phoned me at the hotel to give me the information I required and wanted to leave me her phone number in case I needed to get in touch with her! The housekeeping team swung into action on discovering my birthday card and left a bunch of red roses on the table and balloons on my bed - I just couldn't believe my eyes when I walked into the room. A cake was duly presented at dinner and my name was correctly spelt!!!! My 2 night stay in the hotel will always be one of the highlights of my visit to India!!! October 21, 2014
