Rated 5 out of 5 A 4-Star Property with a 5-Star Service
The Westin Resort & Casino, Aruba is a clean, modern but lacks the glitzy decor found in other Aruban resorts, beachside resort with prompt service, above average restaurants, a clean pool, and truly "Heavenly" beds. The Westin's proximity to various attractions, local restaurants & shoppes deserves recognition.
Issues with service at some of their restaurants was immediately dealt with by Management.
Special consideration to the following staff: Virginia (wait staff) and Ruel (chef) from the Terrace, Cornell (wait staff) from the pool bar, Raul (wait staff) from the Baci, and William & Erol (wait staff) from Pago Pago, Eric from the lobby, Rudy (Supervisor) & Rene (wait staff) from the Azull, Romeo (Luggage Attendant Supervisor). These people have gone above and beyond to provide my family and I, excellent service throughout our stay. Please take care of them as they are your greatest assets.
It is highly recommended and we will definitely be back again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Slug Staff Are Great
We found most staff really cared about us and trying their best to ensure our expectations - especially Front Office and Housekeeping. I can't possibly understand how someone can say rooms are musty and soggy .. they were clearly at a different hotel than we were or perhaps in a different section. Our accommodations exceeded our expectations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MrsKB Going back for the THIRD time!
This will be our 6th trip to Aruba. My husband and I are on our way back to the Aruba Westin Resort for our third stay. Needless to say, we have been very pleased with the accomodations and positive staff interactions. The staff are very nice, helpful, and friendly. The last time we arrived there, we were even greeted with a "welcome back!" We also met with the General Manager, Mr. Roy because we had a couple of issues that arose, and he took excellent care of us - which is why we are returning to them for a third stay. 5 more days until we arrive in Aruba...we are SO EXCITED! We will let you know how it went, upon our return...

Rated 1 out of 5 by Emily82 Poort Stay at the Westin Aruba
My husband and I spent 3 nights there last week and were extremely disapointed. We have stayed at Starwood properties all over the world and were never met with such a terrible hotel. The rooms were really musty and outdated. The carpets were soggy so I had to wear my shoes when in the room. The pool had a permanent layer of black film on the top which was all dead bugs - never once did I see an employee cleaning the pool. The outdoor bars and seating areas were disgusting, the food was inedible, and unkept. Towels and garbage were all over the place. No outside staff keeping up appearances or making sure you had a drink.
I really feel like we wasted our free and earned points on dump. It's very frustrating to save these points up all year and have your trip ruined because of a filthy hotel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gammie A Perfect Vacation Spot
Don't write reviews (usually read) however, have to agree with all those who wrote positive things about the Westin and staff. Staff were very friendly and eager to please. Having stayed here before it's good to know things haven't changed. Cleanliness of rooms, restaurant service and staff all "A+". One suggestion I have would be to make reservations for Pago Pago in advance. Sometimes a little hard to get. Otherwise, our most favorite vacation spot. Looking forward to another visit next week. Almost forgot, definitely treat yourself to a massage at the spa. You won't regret it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pa50 Wonderful holiday
Our stay in Aruba was enhanced because we stayed at the Westin. The tone was set when we arrived and were greeted by Tony who put a smile on our face. Then off to the front desk where Dany took care of us and some of the particular request we had for our son who was getting engaged. Being platinum we were upgraded to a suite (the presidential suite ) Usually we are not fans of hotel food but this hotel's restaurants are excellent as is the service. The beach is well kept and lovely.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nprvl Another return visit to Westin Aruba
Our most recent stay was 9 - 15 March. We keep on returning to the Westin because we love the location, the view, the amenities, and the Westin service we are accustomed to as Starwood Platinum members. Rooms are comfortable, spacious, and very clean. Westin still pampers us with little touches like evening turn down service. And of course we look forward to sleeping in the Westin heavenly bed! Plenty of pool and ocean side palapa's to lounge under all day. Tons of international guests pretty much guarantee we will make a friend or two from somewhere new every visit. And the hotel location is about a 5 minute walk from the heart of the action in Palm Beach.
The building is not brand new, though it is very clean and very well maintained inside and out. Every return trip we notice improvements and upgrades.
Was our stay perfect? Pretty much! We did have one unfortunate, minor problem and what was important to us was not so much the problem, rather how staff handled it... and the staff bent over backwards even late on a Sunday to correct it for us immediately!

Rated 4 out of 5 by 2muchfun2 A good place for a vacation
Long time satisfied user of the Starwood brands and once again my stay has met/exceeded my expectations. Nicely upgraded to a very clean & spacious junior suite (#1638) on arrival based on SPG status. Staff was attentive and pleasant. Amenities were good with clean gym, nice & clean pool and grounds. Breakfast buffet was complete and varied. Towel service was good and beach was very nice although a bit busy, but we always easily found 2 chairs without reserving them. Free hotel parking is a bonus. The pool restaurant and bar could use a bit of decorating to make them more appealing instead of the white paint, just to give them a more resort look. Close to a bunch of restaurants and activities.
Only issue was that the wifi in room (at the extremity of the hotel lobby) was not working with the signal being too weak and disconnecting all the time.
