Rated 4 out of 5 by Westin Denerau staff very friendly, hotel very clean, response of staff little bit slow but a freindly smile makes you forget it. no beach at all, so you are restricted to swim only in the pool, perfect garden, too small pool for such a big hotel, if you want to swim no chance at all.. food quality is good only 2 restaurants with a short menu, good thing is that you can use also Sheraton facilities so it covers it all. I will recomend the Hotel to friends January 26, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by A great place to stay Our first holiday away with our 8 month old boy. Last week of July 2012, weather was great about 30 degrees and sunny every day. A great time to go as the resort(s) weren't busy. Arrived Nadi airport and traveled to the Westin with a TTF transfer which only took about 30 mins (booked online). Check-in was fast and easy. We asked if the Cot was in the room and they said it would be shortly. We were taken to our room via a "golf buggy" vehicle. Within 10 mins reception phoned to ask if we were happy with our room (ocean view). We mentioned we were still waiting on the cot (arrived in the next 10 mins). Room was great, clean, plenty of room, a/c can stay on when you leave, bath/shower room was a "wet room". A shower curtain around the bath but not the shower! Buffet breakfast was great, lots of hot/cold options for all, including our little boy. Moo Moo restaurant was great, reasonably priced for a resort plus 20% discount if you ate between 6-7pm (plus while we were there, kids meals were free). As the neighboring Sheraton(s) are also ran by Starwood you can use their facilities and dine at their restaurants (and charge to your room). I would recommend making reservations if eating at any of the resort restaurants. We also ate at the Denarau Port where there are about 6 or so restaurants and are cheaper than the resorts. Taxi from the resort is 5 FJD each way. There is also a small supermarket at the Port. All the staff were so friendly especially with our little boy, each day many would greet him by name; our little boy loved them all. The cleaning staff were great, our little boy was sick on our bed just after they had made our room, within a few minutes she was back and changed our bed again. Pools were great, Westin had a great toddlers pool which our son loved, there was plenty of space to lounge around in the sun. Plus you also have the option of using the other Sheraton pools (about 3 to 6 min walk along the waterfront). There isn't much of a beach at the Westin and probably wouldn't want to swim in the ocean there, but they do offer a free water taxi out to the nearby island which has a beach and cleaner water. As we had our little boy with us we didn't do any day trips this time. We would love to book our next holiday here! May 11, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by 2nd visit Had a wonderful time again this year. Just as relaxing as before but not as quiet due to increased visitor numbers. Guess we were just lucky in our first visit. Apart from parents ignoring the adults only sign at the lap pool had a great time, wonderful food and very friendly staff. Will go back again next year. January 8, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Holiday Bliss My husband and I had 3 nights here in October 2011 after 7 nights on an Island and wished we had more time here. What a magnificent Hotel with superb facilities and friendly helpful staff in all areas. I didn't use the Spa so can't comment there but if it was anything like the rest of the Hotel it would be fantastic. November 11, 2011

Excellent location - especially the Ocean Front Rooms - the pool is great, the surrounding gardens and palms are very picturesque, the guys in the sports/towel shed have become friends over the years through their wonderful humour and service. they remember us every time we visit, and my son who fist came there with me when he was 6 virtually grew up with them - he's now 26. The bar service is good and friendly and the food in the steak house is excellent by Fiji standards. good casual food in the bakery. very comfortable rooms - especially the beds. Love this Westin in Denarau Fiji, and will return. Mr Alexander Moore December 17, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by New Year's Eve dinner My son is living with life threatening allergies and my wife has a severe diary intolerance. The restaurant "the kitchen" head chef Michael and manager gustove went out of their way on such a busy night to give us a fabulous meal and to include us in the evening, many would not go to such lengths and we very much appreciate this. Also, if you're a busy bee there is lots to do on this island! You'll never get bored. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay!!!! Definitely recommend to friends November 8, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Survided Cyclone Evan We arrived less than 24-hours before the Category 4-5 Cyclone Evan hit the Islands of Fiji. We were helicoptered off a small island for our safety and to get the mainland of Nadi. The resort was beautiful and the staff outstanding in every way. We had a beautiful ocean front 1-bedroom suite, with a small kitchen and living room, large bedroom and five-fixture master bath. The night before the Cyclone - the resort was festive and all the guests were enjoying the pools, bars and restaurants. The employees waited until the next morning to start locking down the pool and other areas down to give the guests as much time enjoying the amenities of the resort. At all times at least one restaurant was open, along with the shops, bakery, and small snack store before the Cyclone hit. I am sure the employees were worried about their own families and homes, but they were all there doing their jobs with smiles on their faces and could not have been more pleasant. We were unable to get any flights out and asked the front desk what the procedures were for extending our stay. Not only did they extend our stay, the actually lowered our rate (by almost 50%) and included breakfast the next morning. The Cyclone hit Nadi around 4;00PM local time the next day and all guests were advised to stay in their rooms. The terrible storm lasted almost 12-hours and it was extremely powerful and devastating. The major electrical systems (air conditioning) did go down, but there was enough power for lights. Our room did suffer about an inch of water on the floor, but we could care less as we survived the massive storm. As we left the room around 7am, the staff was already at work (over 100 employees in total) cleaning the massive debris, down trees, etc. To everyone's surprise, there was a staff of about 15 in the dinning area serving a HOT full breakfast buffet - all at no charge. By afternoon the bar was open, lunch was being served and the staff was working non-stop to return the resort to somewhat operational. Throughout the day, even guests and children were helping clean up the debris. By 7PM, less then 14-hours after the Cyclone the staff was able to clear the several hundred yard drive down to the main road for access. We were able to leave on a late flight and the staff sent us off with a warm smile. This is how a hotel should be run. Bravo to the General Manager and the absolute wonderful staff in Fiji!!
