I booked a deluxe room for one night and I was upgraded on a very busy weekend to the presidential suite, very huge living room, fitness room, etc... I would definitely come back. service is great. The only downside is I didn't receive any credit toward my platinum status nor points.

We stayed at this hotel for the second time, and it was just as great as the first time. The rooms are big and very comfortable, the service is extraordinary and the staff very friendly and helpful. I love the choice you have between beach, garden or pool environment.

A great hotel with exceptionally welcoming staff. Cold towels upon arrival and the check in is seamless. You are even shown to your room by the person checking you in. The whole place is spotless; rooms are large and a great

Great surroundings and location, pool and grounds beautiful. Food was of a very high quality. Kids club very good especially male members who were very enthusiastic.
This is a perfect hotel if you want a luxury family holiday.
One minor issue was the excessive noise coming from the Barasti beach club. We requested a quiet room in advance having two you children but were put in the noisiest room overlooking the beach club. This necessitated being moved twice to get a quieter room which was disappointing.

Did not take advantage of the pool and resort facilities but walked around on arrival and they were impressive, and tempting. Staff were all very good and helpful, particularly in the reception. I would certainly return and give myself some time to enjoy the resort and Dubai

Stayed here for one week.
GOOD STUFF: Location, view, hotel complex - nicely designed, pool area really nice, beach clean and high quality, staff great, room nice. Restaurants good - Thai and Grill superb.
LESS GOOD: water temperature in shower in room fluctuated wildly. Because it is a huge complex linked with the Meridian , perhaps not the most personal service, such as staff asking repeatedly for your room number in service, etc. Poor quality / old / unsuitable boats at the Watersports Centre. Perhaps just the accent but the persons on 'Service express' seemed a little abrupt, but couldn't fault the service from all the staff, very good.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. Our room was ready at 9am and we were checked in efficiently and unpacked within 30 minutes. The hotel room was spacious and had fantastic sea views. The service by the swimming pool is amazing the staff cannot do enough for you. They are all friendly and take time to talk to you to ensure that you are comfortable . The poolside menu is very varied and our lunches were plentiful and delicious. Breakfasts were fabulous and service again excellent. We ate in the Italian Bussola and had a lovely meal there. We also went to the Thai night which was set up like a street market and the food was amazing. Finally a big thank you to the concierge Hassan who made some telephone calls to the airport for us and managed to locate my iPad which we had been unsuccessful in doing ourselves. He went to a lot of trouble and beyond the call of duty. Indeed all the staff in the Westin deserve praise . We will be back again and would recommend this hotel .

Rated 4 out of 5 by Zirk Great hotel, but not for SPG
Fantastic hotel, great location, beautiful setting, and helpful, friendly staff. The problem is that this property does not participate in the SPG program, and that is not clear when one makes reservations. No points, none of the standard gold benefits, etc. The staff did all the could to make up for this, and were hugely helpful, but it was a pain, and we received no SPG points for this stay.
