The facility is really beautiful but location from the city centre is fall and if you need to be in the city, I suggest the other spy properties. I was disappointed with some of the staff services but understand that the property is new. The concierge Bill Cheng saved the day.

My highly gratitude for this unforgettable stay and hospitality with my family in the Sheraton Haudu Resort , your and your resorts touched our hearts. The Resort location , away from the busy Guangzhou downtown , is a pace devoted to overall well-being through a variety of professional services that encourage the renewal of mind, body and spirit of all guests. You got it all . Your colleagues members are courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and articulate, always committed to anticipating the guests' needs and serving them.
Staff believes in the concept of spa wellness, and is willing and able to share these philosophies with guests. They guard the guest's privacy and modesty treatments . They had been very attentive to preserving the resort environment , atmosphere and clearly understand the resort guest service processes and goals you got highly professional and attentive staff at all times.
Luxury accommodation, spacious and exceptional quality. The facilities and services are extensive and the cuisine is of the highest international quality.
The Guest accommodation is Five diamonds, the level of quality is truly exceptional, for the high-quality interior design and furniture. The customer care meets your every need. Feast Restaurant buffet breakfast and Yue Chinese restaurant is Five stars with overall level of quality is exceptional food variety and so is the interior, fittings and fixtures, often with a personal touch. The management is highly efficient and customer care is paramount.
Sustainability I found the resort has in place policies and procedures to protect the environment, thus protecting our planet for the future. To grow this industry toward a deeper connection with the natural laws of nature, the spa embraces the three pillars of sustainability: planet, people and prosperity. Regarding our Planet the resort have been dealing responsible to work with the natural world to promote its healing properties while conducting business in a way that sustains the life of the planet and thus humanity. The people
your colleagues which serve others, the resort staff members they keep themselves physically, mentally and spiritually healthy by maintaining their overall health and well-being. Speaking about Prosperity I found that many staff members of your resort supports sustainability through education on more efficient uses of energy and resources, thus lowering the cost of operations.

Rated 4 out of 5 by JTSHouston Beautiful facility, guest experience fell short.
What a beautiful facility tucked away in the hills on a lake with fantastic architecture but a guest experience far from what it should be.
I think our experience was primarily influenced by the fact that we are Westerners who do not speak Cantonese and the staff needs substantially more training in dealing with Westerners.
The staff was most willing to please but virtually all spoke very little or no English. At their finest restaurant we had great difficulty ordering dinner and the food was mediocre at best. We ordered wine from the list but it had to come from the lobby bar, quite a distance away. There was no full bar in the restaurant.
At the fitness center we needed an interpreter to get our message across, something we found everywhere at the resort. This is a stunningly beautiful resort but on our stay most all the water features, fountains, etc. were either empty or turned off. There was no operating hot tub at either of the two pools.
In summary, this hotel has the potential to be a fantastic destination but due to inadequate management and staff training leaves a Western visitor with a poor guest experience. I hope Sheraton management fixes it.
