Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect holiday on the beautiful island Mauritius We really enjoyed our stay at the WESTIN TURTLE BAY. Just staying for one week at the end of March 2015 the hotel fullfilled all of our expectations. The staff / personnel has been very friendly, i.e. during breakfast (asking for juice, tea and so on), at the pool (towel-service, cleaning sun-glasses, etc) or doing sports (indoor fitness trainer and outdoor fitness coach for running, cycling, etc). Beside that the hotel-facilities have been very clean and have been being reviewed regulary (cleaning the toilettes, cutting leafes of palms and so on). So THANK YOU VERY MUCH for this pleasant stay. Rated 5 out of 5 by Most memorable time and heavenly westin stay A family (with one 4yrs child), holiday was on the cards and after a thorough review of available options I chose this Westin Resort. I am so very glad that I did as we had a very memorable holiday and lovely stay in Westin. Staff are very friendly and were happy to go an extra mile when spoken to make the stay special. Besides the staff, the beds are so nice and heavenly we didn't want to leave! It's a beautiful property for a resort, secluded and the room was lovely. We had a car during our stay for going into town but didn't leave the resort as we had a nice relaxing break. I felt my SPG status was acknowledged especially with access to Westin lounge. The Westin Lounge was heavenly, secluded, quiet, relaxing and special in content and service which was the best privilege of my SPG status during my stay. The restaurant Chefs, food and drinks were fantastic. The service in restaurants and food was very personal/customized and I got the feeling that is how they like to run it at this Westin. The restaurant staff and Chefs like to talk and get to know guests, a sense of what the guests love or expect to customize/ personalize the food and restaurant experience. We loved this especially given we are vegetarians. The Chefs have magic in their hands at this place especially in Fusion (Sushi: Chef, Ram) mystique and Kangan (Indian: Chef's name escapes my mind at the moment). We felt that the options in the menu can be increased/enhanced/improved given the variety and experience of our food here. My Top Tip for the stay is speak to the restaurant/ F&B staff on food topics and resort staff for others and you will enjoy the stay that much more at this place. All in all what a lovely holiday at Westin. Special Thanks to Anoop, Pamela, Shweta, all F& B Managers, supervisors, Chefs, Ashvin & Shivani. Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing hospitality, wonderful SPG status recognition, and a very beautiful hotel We had an amazing time at the Westin. Upon arrival we were escorted to the SPG Gold and Platinum Lounge offered free drinks and snacks and upgraded to a suite. The staff are very attentive and cheerful. The level of service is exceptional! The pools were great and my kids enjoyed playing in them all day. There was nice snorkeling right off the beach and a free glass bottom boat took you to another reef across the bay. I would definitely come here again. February 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful hotel with Impeccable service The hotel is located in a somewhat secluded area of Mauritius so either renting a car or using a taxi to get around is needed. The location is superb - on a long stretch of beach just beside a large bay. The hotel beach itself is somewhat rocky but the bay right next door has a great sand beach. Free water sports are provided by the hotel including snorkeling on a nearby reef, paddle boats and kayaks. Onsite there are 4 restaurants as well as a beach bar with reasonable Westin prices. The rooms are impeccably maintained, meeting / exceeding standards in all aspects. The one thing that really stands out is the impeccable service provided by all staff which far exceeds anything we have ever seen in Starwood hotels. For gold and platinum members as well as suite guests, the Executive Club provides breakfast and snacks as well as a happy hour every evening with a full bar. We could not find one thing that needed rectifying which is rare for any hotel. January 31, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic stay at the Westin Mauritius Our stay was memorable, made all the more so by your friendly staff. Pamela in particular, in the Executive Lounge was absolutely fantastic. Even though we got caught in a stage 2 Cyclone warning, the professionalism and courtesy of the staff, made us feel welcome and safe at all times. January 21, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Unsatisfatory stay 2nd visit in 2 months time,No groom attendant upon arrival,had to call the concierge myself. No attending staff till reception,no towel refresh upon arrival,had to claim coktail to the barman,very low check in (stay 1 hour in the lobby with a baby) SPG member must not wait more than 5 min,move to my room (100 m from the lobby)alone in the hot/sunny weather ,no accompanied staff,buggy service very poor, took an AI package,but in all restaurant you are limited to certain amount,lack of staff in all areas in the hotel,the only positive is the quality of food and breakfast . Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent stay!!Recommended! Was not the best start (little confusion about my luggage) BUT the staffs did manage to buy themselves with a very dedicated and caring touch. The hotel itself is gorgeous, ideally located next to a marine park for snorkeling lovers like myself. Food, facilities and Spa are incredible. And the 2 pools...amazing! Tiny negative point: Please provide 3 pin electric sockets in all the rooms if you intend to provide electrical accessories with 3 pin plugs! But this is not what will stop you from having a great refreshing and relaxing time at Westin. Looking forward for my next stay. December 17, 2014
