Rated 4 out of 5 Good hotel but..... The hotel was good but there was a 2 hour delay in giving us our rooms as they were not ready. This is really inconvenient as we were only there for 2 nights so a lot of time was wasted. Also as a family with children we had 3 rooms booked and one of them was given in another wing of the hotel which is absurd considering we had requested to stay together. We stayed 2 nights and the food at 55 and 5th was exorbitant and certainly not worth it! The 2nd night we ate at Sontaya the Thai restaurant and the food was awful. Also if you don't get to the pool early in the morning you will be hard pressed to find sun loungers as they are all taken. Otherwise a good hotel for a short break. April 16, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Beautiful Location, average to poor service Without a doubt the location is amazing. Beautiful beach and golf course all very close. The staff was hit or miss. The hotel was busy, but they failed on a lot of things. St. Regis prides itself on the butler service. When I called they seemed aloof. One time the butler asked me who this was on the phone. Not what I expected. Room service missed as well. My wife can't handle spicy food and we ordered a pasta asking not spciy. The dish must of been the most spiciest dish I have ever ahd. All in all average! We needed some help on checking out, lots of bags with a baby. We called twice for some help and no one ever arrived, we gave up after 30 minutes. April 6, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by The staff needs a lot of training! I had my worst experience in hotels in my entire life at St Regis Saadiyat Abu Dhabi. The list is so long to add but to say the least don't be fooled by the butler service for the suites as all they do when you request anything from the butler is forward your call to the respective department in the hotel for you to deal with it. Completely defeats the reason of having a butler. April 14, 2014

Everything was above expectations, from the welcoming of the staff and the proficient presence of mrs Djunova at our arrival to all the small details daily. Thank you again !!! April 14, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Mid Term Break Mild dissapoinment, room was nice but with poor view; we had issues twice with the safe box in the room that locked itself. We had lunch the first day upon arrival, was a long wait and plain food; The beach is very nice but there is construction nearby and drainage pipes pumping dirty water some 150 meters away from st regis beach zone, the beach sand had foam on it that did not look very natural (I cant imagine these pipes could be seawage but they should be routed further into the sea). The SPG card was of no use, not even to get a half an hour extension at check out. April 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Winter sunshine escape Possibly the best trained staff I have come across and I travel a lot. From security guards to the management - all excellent. Proper sea (with waves!) unlike the standard tepid, still lagoons elsewhere in the gulf. Adult pool an oasis, but we had kids and they loved the cabanas for ipads and shade! April 9, 2014
