Two of us travelled to the resort for a 3 day stay. Everything ran smoothly, the staff were exceptionally friendly and met any requests that we had. There is a wide variety of cuisine to meet all tastes; the food is of an excellent standard. The island is well designed providing ample opportunity to relax with privacy as well as participate in water sports and other activities if you wish to do so. Amongst the top SPG hotels I have stayed at.

We stayed at Sheraton end of dec.2012 to 10th of january 2013. Originally planned for a week , we had to extend because of a medical condition. I couldn't recommand a better place... we have been helped and taken care of from the first minute at the Sheraton Full Moon, to the hospital appointment process, to the diving experience for my partner, absolutely everything has been great.
Ursula and her team did a brilliant job and make us feel more than welcomed and absolutely looked after. The Sheraton Maldives offers as well peace of mind and tranquility, as even when the hotel is busy at one of the highest time of the season, you can find very quiet spot on one of the beaches. New year's eve was really great , the atmosphere was very joyfull and the Chef Sven had done a brilliant buffet. We are very highly recommanding the place and we will be very happy to return. Definitely one of my best hotel stay.

Lots of great people work here across all areas, sales, restaurants, bars, boat boy, room service, guest services and more. The service level and the smiles are great, even when working a tough 12 plus hours a day and a 6 day week over the new year

My wife and I went there to celebrate our 35th anniversary this December. To recognize all the people that made our stay a truly unforgettable experience would take several pages, as it seemed that each person was always going out of their way to make us feel at home. Each of our requests was met with a smile and a genuine effort to accommodate us. The spa facilities and employees were just awesome and Chris and Andrea at the dive shop couldn't have been any nicer. Last but not least, Ursula who helped organize the special dinner and flowers for the anniversary night.
The only sad part was having to leave such a wonderful place.

We were staying here for our honeymoon and from the moment we arrived until we left we loved it! The staff are welcoming and friendly, the food is absolutely superb and we loved dining at each of the restaurants. The beach is like a dream come true with clear turquoise water and the most amazing fish and corals nearby. We stayed in the overwater bungalow and thought that it was well worth it. You can tell the hotel is managed very well and we would recommend this to everyone. We loved it!

(1) The water bungalows are very tastefully decorated;
(2) Sea Salt & Ban Thai provided a gastronomic delight.
(3) Staff - both in the restaurants as well as those we met along the way were always so helpful & kind. Their consistent greetings were always a pleasant experience. Their final good bye wave as the speed boat departed has left a lasting impression on us with a burning desire to return soon.
Areas of improvement:
(1) a little more attention should be paid to water bungalows. Room 131 had its air con continuously dripping water on to the floor; the steps leading into the ocean need re-fitting (one step is broken). The supervisor desk was informed on day 2 of our stay but we didn't see any attention taken.
(2) the quality of the fruits at the breakfast table were below standards.

The island and hotel surpassed my expectations except for the hugely inflated prices for snacks and drinks which added cost not budgeted for. We were half board and the food we had was superb and plentiful so fortunately didnt need to buy many extras but as there was no local options you had to pay hotel prices. Disappointed no visit local products at reasonable prices and due to stormy weather (unusual apparently) for 5 of our 6 days the local island experience trip was cancelled. Staff were all fantastic and so friendly. Spa was a dream and the young man who cleaned my room was delightful.

We were there for our Honeymoon. Upon arrival when we showed our marriage certificate, the staff promised us that we be given a complimentary red wine and a box of chocolate. During our stay there for 5 days, we enquire with several staff regarding the complimentary gifts but the respond was ' we will check for you'. Nothing was fulfilled till the day we left the Hotel.
Another incident was, we book for two way transport, extra costing us USD$85++ per pax to airport terminal as we were going to Ma'Le. We were supposed to take the transport from airport back to Hotel @1945. The staff said that we have to wait for a group from Arrival Hall @1955 flight. So we said ok, but to our surprised, we waited till @2100, and my husband was dozing off at the counter. The staff keep on saying we have to wait for the group without even saying sorry. We were very disappointed with the bad service as we paid extra money & this is what we deserved for our honeymoon .

Absolutely wonderful ocean villa with a spectacular view of the ocean. The villas private pool is a superb place to revel in the luxury of the serene surroundings while enjoying the sound of the waves and and your favorite refreshment. The furnishings were fabulous especially the abundance of drawers, the lavish bathroom and the wonderful bed. Everything is very well placed and thought out to add comfort and convenience to your stay in this luxury environment. The well stocked mini bar added to the pleasure of the all inclusive plus experience. The staff was very helpful, friendly and extremetly courteous. The food was very good and the entire stay was a sheer delight. Can't wait to visit again.

My husband and I stayed at the Sheraton for our honeymoon. We stayed 9 nights and absolutely loved everything about our stay. We were so sad to leave the Maldives, but we will definitely be back to the Sheraton again soon.
The resort is very well kept, food is fantastic (Baan Thai & Sea Salt are our favorites) and the staff are extremely friendly. I am a platinum member and the staff definitely went above and beyond to get to know us and make sure we had a wonderful time.
Definitely book the Water Bungalow it is totally worth it. It is the most relaxing place on earth! The private patio is great to lay in the sun in privacy and jump in the ocean to cool off. We saw so much underwater wildlife (sharks, sting rays, jellyfish, eels, fish). My husband and I are back home now and dreaming about our personal paradise - Water Bungalow #130!

Stayed here from the 10 - 13 of September and really enjoyed it. What a beautiful Hotel and the staff is also very friendly and happy to talk to the guest.. Even Managment is very hands on and you see them on the floor all the time. We really enjoyed the Cocktails on Tuesday night with the managment on the beach. The Hotel lis well looked after and we can really not point out any faults here. Tip book an Ocean Villa with your own pool, as they are very spacious and make you feel very special and at home.
Beaches around the Hotel are also kept very clean and for snorcheling there is plenty of amazing fish to see around the Bangalows.

We stayed at the Sheraton Full Moon Spa, Maldives for our honeymoon. Our experience has been truly memorable and we can safely say that Sheraton Maldives will be our only choice when we come back to visit Maldives in the future.
The facilities were excellent and the staff were both easily approachable and very accommodating to our needs. We felt at home and did not feel that we were staying in a resort.
Excellent value for money and in our list of resorts occupies the top position in every respect.
We were a little sad that we had to return back but we have promised our selves that we will return to experience the warmth of Sheraton Maldives

Sheraton Full Moon is a great choice for a first time traveller to Maldives. It ticks all the boxes eg a wonderful resort with well appointed rooms, fantastic on the beach rooms for SPG members, easy and cost effective access from airport, nice restaurants great staff and service and to top it all the deck out side the bar is an absolute gem!!!
Transfer cost is only USD 100, some properties can charge upto 800 to a 1000 USD for sea plane transfer itself. So do look at the this before booking a resort in Maldives.
Andre, the front office manager was absolutely the most perfect host and even came to the jetty to see us off.
If I would like an improvement then it would be in the food and cuisine - it is too boring and not so tasty specially when one has to have all one's meals at the resort itself all the time.

My family and I stayed at the Sheraton Full Moon Resort for 5 nights - while the staff at the hotel were friendly and accommodating just a few issues let the hotel down. The food in the restaurants, while generally good, was very very expensive, in comparison to other 5 star resorts I have experienced. Room service was better value and usually was delivered quickly by friendly staff. The dive centre was excellent in terns of equipment, service, staff, dive sites and value of money but in relation to other activities, the hotel charges for non-motorized water sports, such as paddle board usage or dinghy sailing in the lagoon, which other resorts I have experienced make available without any additional charges. The quality of the loungers around the pool and on the beaches were generally poor and could have benefitted from having their cushion covers cleaned. Towels were freely available but had to be collected from the beach/bar hut rather than being dispensed by the staff.

Stayed in an Ocean Villa for 7 nights which was excellent and met all our expectations. All staff provided great service with a smile and pleasent greeting. Baan Thai & Sea Salt F&B outlets provided excellent dinning options. Breakfast at Feast was avarage, some days bettter than others.
Also the food qaulity at the Beach Bar BBQ at lunch time was disappointing
Hotel facilities & location excellent although we did not use either the Spa or Fitness Centre.

You certainly exceeded our expectations. Perfect, very clean, well equipped and spacious room. Extremely courteous, knowledgably and efficient staff. My wife cannot eat gluten and every outlet we went to already knew this requirement as soon as we said our room number. Gluten free pan cakes, muffins and toast were placed on the table at breakfast before we had even got back from the buffet. We stayed for 2 nights at the end of a trip to Oz and Sri Lanka and was a perfect way to relax and be looked after before heading back to work. I spend a lot of time in top hotels and this certainly ranks up there with the best of the best, especially when it comes to the staff. I would definitely recommend this resort. Thanks and hope to return.

I visited Sheraton Full Moon Maldives over the weekend that was a superb experience . I really had a nice holiday with your Resort, Your staff was really helpful & efficient towards my wants & needs, Your island gave me an impression of home away from Home atmosphere, the Room décor & amenities played a very good sense with my holiday during my visit I visited Sand cost/Main restaurant /Anchorage bar with lovely food and beverage .
Even though some travelers commented on the trip advisor that your resort is commercialized when I compare with other resorts it was a real calm & quite resort In Maldives It is an unique resort in Maldives with a different passion . before I step in to Sheraton Full Moon Maldives I had an impression of Commercialized Resort since it is very close to Male however when I arrived to your place only I realized that it was full of homely effect .

This was not hotel, but home...keeping in mind I travel alot and stay in many hotels, but Sheraton Full Moon stands much above it...Cuisine was great, with Indian Chef approaching what would you like us to prepare...you do not hear such things in lot of other hotels, Front Office and Everybody in Resort was genuinely filled with warmth....best hotel of my life..

I booked an over-water villa. Upon check-in, I asked if an upgrade were possible (I am SPG Platinum) They offered to sell me an upgrade. When I asked to speak with the GM, they refused to allow me to leave a voicemail. A front desk manager pointed out the legally, they were under no obligation to upgrade. Needless to say, I did not feel like a valued guest. The food at the hotel was also very disappointing. Adequate, but not good. The small spa was pleasant and the beauty of the location is without equal. How sad that this property is so poorly managed. It has wonderful potential!
