We came to Mauritius for a film shoot with an US Amercan VIP for a European TV commercial. It was one of the best experiences I ever made while filming. On the one hand we became full support from management and the very friendly and helpful hotel crew for our filming on the island with its gorgeous locations. Same time we had a wonderful time in the hotel, the rooms are beautiful, the cuisine its outstanding in every restaurant, and I allowed to do the same like our celeb - I prolonged my stay for some days in order to relax in the beauty of the St Regis and the wonderful nature it is surrounded by. Thanks a lot.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine au St. Régis où tout était parfait : l'encadrement , la cuisine et le personnel attentionné .
Deux petites remarques : l'hôtel n'est pas à 45mn de l'aéroport mais 1h15 !
Nous avons pris la demi pension : 3 buffets de petit déjeuner remarquables
Cependant j'aurais aimé que tous les restaurants de l'hotel en fassent partie (l'indien très cher et que 25% de rabais)

The St Regis in Mauritius was a revelation. A wonderful hotel in a stunning position with faultless service and the loveliest staff. Every aspect exceeded my expectations as did the location which is amongst the best on the Island. Loved the diverse dining options, the excellent sporting facilities & a very defined sense of place. I would highly recommend and it gives more established hotels a real run for their money.

The Hotel is a colonial hotel with very unique facilities and suites. The Butler service is very very very very personal and lovely, i loved them! They show you the whole room facilities personal and are 24 hours available.
The beach is very wide and you can jog or do long beach walks. The view to the big "mountain" Le Morne Brabant is absolutely amazing!
PS: I love Tjierry, he is the loveable and most sympathetic mauritian i ever met! THANK YOU FOR ALL!

My wife and I have just returned from a 1 week trip to the St Regis Mauritius and feel we have possibly just had the best holiday of our lives.
The Location is breathtaking, situated on the south side of the island surrounded by crystal clear turquoise water on which the hotel offers a plethora of nautical activities (swimming with dolphins, snorkeling gear, sailing, glass-bottom boats, wind surfing, kayaking paddle boarding...)
The Resort itself is made of the most exquisite materials; all chosen with great sophistication to make us feel bathed in luxury wherever we are, from the reception to the amazing rooms. The gardens were filled with delicate and beautiful flowers with the most delightful fragrances.
The food is second to none, there are no less than 6 restaurants to choose from, all beautifully decorated in their own style. Our preference was for the floating market which serves Vietnamese/Thai style food in a restaurant surrounded by water features and fountains.
The beach is quite simply gorgeous. There is plenty enough space between deckchairs to give you enough room to have a private conversation. There are security guards in the background who keep a watchful eye on your belongings whilst you go for a swim and an army of waiters who march up and down the beach to tend to your every need. Special thanks to Prakash who really made our beach experience one to remember, as if by magic, always there to help us move our deckchairs, get us an extra towel, clean our sunglasses, bring us our lunch, fresh mineral water or offer us free cocktail shots.
We did not spend much time at the spa but did enjoy the complimentary steam-room and jacuzzi facilities which were very luxurious. We did however make full use of the gym which has state of the art equipment and a very competent coach to give you plenty of tips for a better workout.
Last, but certainly not least all of the above would be absolutely nothing without the outstanding service we received from the staff. Their attention to detail is quite simply outstanding, they know where you are and how best to meet your needs at every moment. I am not sure if it is down to the very welcoming and kind nature of Mauritians or a testament the St Regis Training team or possibly a combination of both but it is certainly very impressive. Well done to Fabienne for hiring and training such a competent team.
Our very special thanks goes to Rishi, our butler who went out of his way to make us feel at home, answering our every whim when we asked for something, and most of the time preempting our needs so we did not have to ask.
Thank you also to Sophie and all the other restaurant staff, whose names we have forgotten but made a lasting impression especially on our last lunch in the boathouse.
Lastly, many many thanks to Mr de Villèle, the General Manager who very generously treated us to a lovely dinner and lent us the amazing Kevin to take us on a full day tour of the island.

My husband and I stayed at the St Regis Mauritius for 7 nights and what a glorious time we had...! 5 star all the way... from accomodation to service... all of it, top notch!
A beautiful setting where we could really unwind and feel pampered.
Also, loads to do! We spent 2 mornings with the personal trainer, Jonathan... an incredible gym and he is a fantastic trainer... we felt less guilty for enjoying all the gorgeous food thanks to his perfect workouts. The gym is also well-equipped and state of the art. And Jonathan had the best stretching exercises so each time we left feeling great.
We went to swim with dolphins one morning and that was an incredible experience... out in the wild of the Indian Ocean no-less.
Many times we were treated to surprise cocktails from the bar... Ryan the manager was such fun as well!
The GM, Laurent, made his presence known to us and checked in several times to ensure we were happy. He runs a top notch hotel and should feel proud of all the staff at the St Regis. We will be back next year without a shadow of a doubt!

This Hotel is genuinely recommended for its combination of location & service. You have everything you need to have for a good chill - out. Nothing spectacular but just what you need to be comfortable and relaxed. Staff is doing their best to be up to the standards of the place. Special thanks to our butler - Cavish, all the nice guys and ladies serving us in the restaurants (Avi - Hi!), the ladies at the Kid's club - all seem to be at their right place and very dedicated to what they are doing. Looking forward seeing you next year!
