Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Mauritian Address My favorite Mauritian resort... The staff is definitely very welcoming and you can instantly feel the warmth of the surrounding and people once you embark. Special mention to Ranveer and Joelle and the butler Vikash, who were so pleasant and cheerful in their respective positions... Graat professionalism... One of the hotel you can even find various activities indoor. I will definitely come back and i recommend 100%. June 26, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by place to relax we spent 10 days at the St Regis Le Morne and we had a very good time. Location, Hotel facilities and the food in the several restaurants are perfect. But the best is the staff. All employees are very kind, very helpful and cheerful. Above all we would like to mention David and Angele from the bar, David the sommelier, Karen and Riad the butlers, Juliette from the restaurant and all the others who made our stay unforgettable. Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing beachfront location and design The hotel is very well designed and the colonial architecture blends into the environment very well. It is far from commercial and most of the rooms are very close to the beach (just remember to bring your coral shoes as it is not sandy once you get in the sea). Lots of beachfront and great ambiance at the bars and restaurants. Don't hesitate to communicate with the management as they are very warm and extremely accommodating. Kite surfing very unique and a must do for thrill seekers. Great amenities! March 20, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful hotel with great features The beach, the location at the foothills of Le Morne and the beautiful colonial architecture, makes this hotel an idyllic escape. Great place to relax and the spa tempts one to rejuvenate. The team is friendly and professional, the services and facilities meet all needs for a relaxing break. The colonial suite is very spaciaous and with tasteful decor. The only suggestion would be to include tea making facilities in the minibar. February 3, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful experience The Js Beachfront was beautiful and comfortable. The service starting from the reception, concierge, butler and the restaurants was professionally excellent with the extra human and very personal touch. The food was very good and especially the boathouse was a very beautiful place to unwind. The beach service was outstanding and we felt all the time like in paradise. We will go back for sure! Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Hotel with some room for improvement The St Regis Mauritius is a beautifully property that has impeccable landscaping, a beautiful pool and wonderful restaurants. We made the hotel the final stop on our honeymoon and enjoyed three days relaxing at the pool and on our amazing private terrace. I was a little disappointed, however, that the hotel didn't really do anything special for our honeymoon. I don't generally expect anything for free, but the three other hotels we stayed at during the trip all recognized it in some way, whether with a bottle of wine or champagne, a little welcome gift, etc. We booked a romantic (and quite expensive) private dinner on the hotel jetty, which would have been an excellent way for the hotel to acknowledge our special occasion with something as small as a complimentary glass of champagne. To be fair, our butler put some rose petals on our bed that eventing, but coming off of other hotels doing a little more, I have to say that this left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth. Some other thoughts: - Room was lovely and the breakfast was fabulous! - Spa was great. I really enjoyed my treatment there. - We ate at the Floating Market, Le Manoir and our private dinner (chef was wonderful about customizing a menu for us) - all excellent - For a luxury hotel (and a new one at that), the towels and robes in the rooms didn't meet expectations. They were thin, pilled and often stained. - The staff was wonderful about making us aware of options and helping us book things prior to our trip. It would have been helpful to have all of the dinners/activities we discussed in the months leading up to the trip printed out an in our room upon arrival. All in all, it was a wonderful experience with just a few things we thought could be improved upon. December 2, 2014
