Very good. However (a) bring your shin pads as the protruding bed frame guarantees that you will bash your shins several times, and (b) the very noisy music played in the lobby is probably a turn off for a number of guests (e.g. me).

ordered bouquet of flowers for my wife. although the guest room was booked under my name, the hotel decided to call my wife to ask about her expected time of arrival at hotel. this basically spoilt my 2 surprises - the location of our getaway and the flowers!
why would the hotel call a non hotel guest to check about arrival. they should be calling the florist to ensure that the bouquet is delivered to the right venue.
the extra bath towels are placed on a rack too high for people who are not close to 6 feet tall. the bath towels are not big enough and not fluffy enough. they actually feel more like floor mat materials.
the tap at the sink is too close to the wall and too low for convenience of use.
there was a constant noise in the room which I could not pinpoint where that might originate from. checked the aircon and lights but not these.
however, I appreciate the attention to other details especially the feature wall behind bed and the bedside table.
concierge staff and manager did deliver the bouquet personally to my room with apologies on spoiling my surprises.

your hotel needs improve communication within departments.
Staff at the Kitchen Table is not responsive and service is so average. The Male Malaysian manager has attitude problems.

The decoration designs in modern and hip fashion give a feeling of living your life to fullest. Beautiful landscaping surrounding the pool relaxed your tired mind and body. Great staycation hotel though a little expensive.

I requested for early check in and late checkout and was disappointed I could not get either, especially late checkout. I did appreciate the nice gesture of a cake and chocolates for my wife and my wedding anniversary.

Great food selection and very good service at the restaurant. However, meeting room function is still need improvement as 2 coffee machine are broken and not ready to serve guest during the break time.

This is a feature the hotel offers. And they even have a contact number designed specifically for that. They meet every enquiry so promptly and for me so spot on. I would 100% reccomend this hotel to any one.

The hotel has a superb spa.
I really do enjoyed the service while staying there, however the staff should introduce more how to activate those function and should have explain a little more on those equipment .

Customer service is below my expectation for a W hotel. Front desk staff needed to check my room readiness at 9pm. Front desk staff gave me an accesible room when I request a normal. Wait line at breakfast.

In W Singapore - Sentosa Cove, you can relax in a big pool, always under the blue sky.
The location is very good. A peace and quiet cove but it takes just 30 minutes to either downtown or Changi airport.

The hotel has everything, chilled bar, excellent restaurants, big pool with a bar in it, plenty of comfortable seats/hammocks/lounge chairs by the pool.

My wife and I recently stayed at the W Singapore in Sentosa Cove for a "staycation" over Valentine's Day. We have stayed in many W Hotels around the world and were looking forward to staying at Sentosa Cove...15 minutes away from our house but a world away from our day-to-day in central Singapore.
The W at Sentosa Cove has all of the "cool" that you would expect from the W brand but unfortunately we experienced some minor irritations during our stay. 1) Why do you have an SPG gold/platinum queue if there doesn't seem to be any separation between the main queue and the SPG queue? 2) This is the first Starwood hotel where I wasn't asked, during check in, what time we wanted to check out up to 4 pm. As a matter of fact we had to prompt for a late check out and we were told that we could not check out late...no, "Let me see what I can do." No explanation. Even when I asked about this being a generally-offered option for SPG gold/platinum members, I was told to call on the morning of our check out but the "manager" would have to decide. 3) My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at the Skirt restaurant and we were offered a pair of "after-dinner" drink coupons for use at Woobar (nice touch) but when we got to Woobar we were told that these were "welcome" drink coupons that could only be used for a white white spritzer (not my vodka martini or my wife's cocktail) it made for an unnecessarily poor experience (we were going to get a drink anyway). This is a classic example of when it would have been better to do nothing (not to have given us the coupons) rather than set our expectations wrongly and have us disappointed...a very good intention by the wait staff turned into a bad experience. 4) The room service and poolside food menu is really disappointing. Where is the variety? Under the "local" menu choice for breakfast there is one option: a set meal consisting of various southern Indian foods (and these are not even the Singaporean versions of southern Indian foods)? Where is the Singapore local breakfast food like bee hoon or wanton mee or fishball noodle or mee soto ayam or nasi lamak? The most interesting thing on the poolside menu was the curry puff which was out of stock both times we tried to order it. 5) The poolside staff seemed to turn ignoring guests into an art form. Our attempts at signalling staff who were walking by were unsuccessful 1 out of 3 times and I watched as other guests had the same experience (one had to physically run down a staff member to order a drink). 6) The Kitchen Table breakfast buffet looked pretty good, but we gave it a pass because of the crowd...not much room to walk/move and the place was full of families with young kids (we went to an outside cafe near the marina for our breakfast meals).
Nice location and nice facility but experience-wise this doesn't feel like any other W I've been to around the world. As an example, the staff at the various W locations in New York are much more attentive and welcoming than here in Singapore. To me, that's saying something because I don't necessarily expect "gracious" service in New York but I would definitely expect it in Singapore.
Unless it's a company event and someone else is paying, I won't be going back to the W in Singapore for anything more than (maybe) dinner or a drink.
W Singapore managers: consider the viewpoint of your guests, think about the experience that they expect and want out of a stay with you, get your team to make a little extra effort (it matters), and get your staff trained on how they should represent the W brand.

My family and I spent this year's Christmas holidays "staycationing" at the W Hotel Sentosa and we absolutely love it. We were greeted with friendly and helpful staff upon arrival. The checkin process was smoothly and we got our room keys within minutes. Our room is spacious, bright with an artistic twist The room even has space for an extra single bed for our 8 years old. The swimming pool is a beauty. It has colorful floats scattered all around for guests of all ages to enjoy, a real sensory experience. Our breakfast and dinner experiences at the "Kitchen Table" was fantastic. Though many of the staffs there are new, but most of them tried their best to make our dinning experiences a memorable one. I would say the breakfast spread is comprehensive, a good blend of eastern and western cuisine with an impressive egg station (located at the Skirt Restaurant side). My family favorite is the Singapore "Laksa", a must try item. In addition, the hotel in general is dotted with many art pieces for guests of all ages to enjoy.
Overall, what matter to us is the people, though many staffs (I think) are new, I must say many are really helpful and warm. This year, we had a memorable Christmas "staycation" thanks to the people that took good care of us in this hotel.

I was looking for a hotel to celebrate my wedding anniversary - and chanced upon W Hotel Singapore. I booked an Away Room and indicated that I was celebrating my wedding anniversary. The check-in was a bit of a hiccup - reason being that they were fully booked the week before. The Welcome Desk was very apologetic about that and invited us to the hotel bar for a welcome drink while waiting for the room to be ready. The room was great - and the W team delivered a cake to our room, with a congratulatory message for our anniversary. It was a nice and heartwarming gesture. They also placed a small vase of fresh roses in our room and some mints on our bed. Nice touch but we were left wondering when did they enter our room to do that. The service desk service needs some improvement. The bath toiletries were insufficient and we had to make a call to service desk to request for more. However, they forgotten about it and we had to call them a second time before they sent it over. The breakfast provided was splendid, with an excellent spread. Overall, we had a great time at the hotel. Kudos to the W team!

The hotel is really exclusive.
All staffs are extremely friendly and helpful!
The room is very well maintained.
However would be better if there is Chinese restaurant of reasonable price;)

this hotel is over priced, the food is exceptionally expensive and very poor range. $10 coffees are too expensive. This was a very dissapointing stay. Would never return to W hotels.

The staffs at the reception and restaurant give excellent service. The room is comfortable, spacious, well furnished with excellent view.
Only point to improve is the SPA, which seems to a bit disorganized. While I was served the spa cocktail, the person serving me was interrupted by another 2 guests inquiring about packages, I was left alone on the chair until another staff came to bring me to the locker room and introduce me the facilities. At this point I have not looked through the packages and decided on the treatment. After I used the steam room and the jacuzzi, and planning to proceed to the relaxation area to choose my treatment, the therapist brought me direct into the treatment room and asked me to lie face down. I was puzzled, as I have not chosen any treatment and pointed out this to him. The therapist than briefly checked with me on what I wanted and made some recommendations while we were standing in the room. I have no complain on the massage technique, but this is not a relaxing spa experiences compared with what I have been experiencing in other spa facilities in equally prestigious hotels.

It was a great one night stay at the W Singapore. It was great to be upgraded to a Marvelous Suite and was given complimentary drink coupons while we waited for our rooms to be ready. Not long after checking in to the room, a complimentary cake was brought to the room for my partner's birthday.
These little touches made the experience at W great.
It was a true pity that the haze was so prevalent, therefore we did not have the opportunity to experience the pool and the bar in the pool.
One the flip side, I realised that when 2 or 3 items is requested from the WheneverWhatever through the phone, they were brought to the room one by one. Meaning to say, we requested for towels, cups and toothbrushes for example, and it took three trips, so we spent awhile getting to the door in 5 minute intervals which was much irritating. Also, the minibar was missing items when we checked-in and despite informing the front desk and having staff check the minibar, it still came up in our bill, but was promptly removed after clarification.
That said, WhateverWhenever Operator Melissa was pleasantly polite and helpful, a real joy.
