It's the third time I am coming to the Shenzhou peninsula four points resort and I like it.
It's quiet, swimming pool is amazing.
This time I especially enjoyed the suite, thank you.

Rated 4 out of 5 Somewhat disappointed
My friend Jessica is a loyal customer of SPG and recommended this place and hotel to me. I booked a 3 nights stay and arrived here yesterday. Overall I liked the place, the facility and most of the people here, but two things happened so far makes me quite unpleasant.
1. I searched on the global SPG website when I started booking and find the lowest rate is 570 so I placed the order. But when I go to the Chinese website I found there is a lower rate of 490, so I cancelled the order trying to change to the lower rate. I called SPG china call center and they refused to do so saying the best they could do is to restore my original order, the first people I talked to even said I'll need to pay penalty because I cancelled the order. My friend later called SPG global call center and they finally changed the order for me.
2. My friend told me that there is a promotion plan for hotels in Hainan that we could enjoy some benefits: http://www.starwoodhotelshainan.com/promotions/
thus I registered for the second one - stay 3 nights to earn a coupon.
Today I just checked with the front desk about this plan and her initial response was that she did not know of such a plan. Then I showed her the address of the website, she checked for a while and said I am not eligible for the plan as I am staying at a discount rate. She also commented that they had a lot of troubles with the HQ regarding this plan(denying she does not know such plan). i do not care so much about a coupon but people's response to you are simply unacceptable. I did not ready thoroughly the terms of the plan when I talked to her downstairs but now I come back to my room, even using a microscope I did not see anything in the terms that I am not eligible for the coupon...
I am really puzzled and disappointed on the way they treat and react to a new customer like me, maybe the reason is that I am not gold or platinum? My friend also said she was surprised...
