Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome customer service and staff The hotel staff I worked with really were awesome, professional, personable and met all my needs (Karry Borges, Erin Lifty and Andrea Clarabal) all were great, helpful and seemed to enjoy their jobs. The room was very comfortable and met all our needs. Services in the hotel were also great, definitely recommend to others! July 9, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Unsatisfied This hotel is definitely not up to "Sheraton" standards!! We were quite shocked and will not recommend nor will we stay at the Princess Kaiulani again. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!!!! July 9, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by What a dump This hotel hasn't been updated in forever. Nothing inside fits the Sheraton brand standard. The carpets, bathrooms and walls are soiled and stained. The hotel is very large and there is no personal attention or sense of urgency with the staff. There are lines for everything. They don't even have the regular shower head or bed. There is a very loud and touristy dinner show at the pool at night, so don't plan on falling asleep before 10pm. The food is ludicrously over priced. No SPG recognition beyond a higher floor. No club lounge. Poor wifi signal. Across the street from the beach. Get up early and you'll have all of it to yourself. Sleep in and there won't be a spot to lay down. Hotel doesn't provide anything for the beach though. November 8, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by This hotel is a dump the furniture in my room is mismatched, scratched and inadequate. Storage space is nearly nonexistent and there is no counter in bathroom Bathroom light fixture is corroded. Elevator is filthy. Staffing at registration desk is minimal. My Starwood Preferred line at check-in waited for service much longer than did other guests. My wife and I have stayed at dozens of other Starwood properties and until now have never seen any so dated and tired as this one October 23, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by princess kaiulani This was my third stay here and I was very disappointed in several ways. They had a room ready when I arrived early in the day but I had to downgrade my room to a different building to get it because of electrical problems in the area I reserved. When we returned to our room after 4 pm the next day, room service had still not cleaned the room. The breakfast bufffet was really terrible and over priced. The pancakes were dried out & hard, eggs cold and hard. November 10, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by A DUMP in Waikiki The most dilapitated, smelly, worn out major hotel chain in Waikiki that tacks on a large resort charge which is not quoted in the price at time of reservation. As an SPG Platinum member, I didn't receive any special recognition/amenities for free because the hotel charges me for them in their omnibus "resort fee." Room was dirty (liquid under the TV and all over the dresser, clogged bath drain, no laundry bag in the closet, and dirty carpet). Operator is rude and I stood in the "Platinumn/Gold" line for more than 15 minutes while the front desk person made a reservation for a walk-up customer. Would I stay there again? No way! Rated 4 out of 5 by Hotel has great features This hotel was located right in the center of everything. Awesome location, even though was one block from beach, we still had a Great view. Walking distance to shopping, Beach, Zoo, Aquarium. Also just so happened that the area for bus tours pick was just down the street. The hotel staff was amazing. There was a young lady hostess at the buffet restraunt that was remarkable. She diffently started our day off right each morning. We will diffently stay here again when we are able to take another vacation. thank you July 2, 2014
