Rated 3 out of 5 by Nite Cleaniness level and service level needs improvement
Generally speaking the hotel is ok. We noticed the floor wasn't very clean, the bath tub outside the bedroom was not cleaned at all, and lots of ants. The kitchen and one of the waitress at the 1st day breakfast chatted a lot during breakfast hour and didn't notice the customer needs help, and buffet table ran out of food. Only one restaurant and there's no main pool in the hotel were not convenient and we had to eat at same place all the time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nucleus Luxury Spa Resort
I was immediately impressed with this property, especially the spa-like feel throughout. The sunken tables in the lotus pond, for one, stand out. There was traditional Thai live music (one instrument called a "ja kay" played on a stage in the water) during breakfast. The birds and fish added to the tranquil atmosphere. In addition, I loved the outdoor showers, and even outdoor bathrooms in public areas! (Yes, there is privacy.) My understanding is the Sheraton is taking over part of another resort, but their own spa and fitness center won't be complete until late 2014. On the positive side, issues with hiring and training new staff - and waiting for trees to grow - are not present here, helping to smooth the transition. There has to be renovation to meet Starwood standards, but rooms in all categories are available now. We had one with a large pool, so we didn't even use the outdoor jacuzzi.
Overall, I loved the meditative vibe, and this is what makes the resort "work" for me. Some more detailed issues to consider are: although some villas are measured as larger, this includes the yard and garden, so if you're in a duplex, for instance, you don't have to feel like you're in a lesser room. In fact, inside they appear larger to me. All rooms share in the "good vibrations" regardless of pool size or one's SPG level. Some rooms with sea views are already open. Internet access involved several slips of paper to log in, but I didn't inquire if this is changing. Note that people around Bangkok come to this area on weekends every month of the year, so weekday stays could be more beneficial in the high season. Transportation is actually a positive despite this being a luxury resort: shuttle vans to Hua Hin are cheaper and better than local transport. This is a quiet area, so if you want noise, shopping, etc., then you need to go into town. Finally, there was a clear desire to take care of and even spoil guests, which I appreciated!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Peter54 Unforgetable Stay
As a Platinum Card Holder we travel a lot and stayed in many SPG hotels, but it was the first time we stayed in a private villa and it was really an unforgetable experiance. A very warm welcome of the staff and a beautiflul unexpected landscape within the resort, every villa really beded in privacy. We stayed in the biggest villa suite, consisting of a huge lounge room, a big master bedroom and a second bed room, two bathrooms. The additional outdoor shower and jacuzzi invite you to relax. Lying on one of the sun lounger looking at the wonderful garden and the ocean in the fond with its great private swimming pool makes you forget the world outside. You can enjoy the excellent food in the resort's restaurant or in the dining area of your villa. With one sentence - we surely come back!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Coxy Best there is in SPG for relaxation
What can I say other than these villas and particularly the service exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I arrived the staff were impeccable. I can’t remember another SPG hotel with such good staff. Certainly should be a training ground for other hotels.
As a Platinum member I was upgraded from the single pool villa to the villa suite which basically means the villas with three detached buildings in it. The villas are very good and extremely private. I had a deluxe pool villa near me but due to screening they could see nothing. Sure the place is about 9 years old and there have been some Thai style repairs, if you look hard enough you will see them. But that would detract from the wonderful experience you can have here. As the staff were trained by the previous owners I would be engaging that company to show other workers at other hotels what makes good service!
The afternoon tea and evening cocktails were excellent! I even ventured to have the buffet on Saturday night against my preconceptions of buffets. Thank God I did. It was the best buffet I have ever had bar none and I told the chef that too.
Loaning one if their bikes was great and the local village is only a short ride away.
I now put this now as my favourite SPG property in the world. I usually don’t mind leaving hotels but I certainly wanted to stay here in the serenity of the villa and pool. Please don’t make me go back to my real life ☺

Rated 5 out of 5 by coolman69 Amazing location - amazing staff and amazing new chef "Gerome"
This was the second visit to Sheraton Pranburi Villas and stay this time was even better than first time last November - where first time was great already .
Meanwhile have a small but nice and well equiped fitness outlet and a spa within the property. was told that a large pool and restaurant with bar near the beach will follow in the next few month,
Gorgeous grounds and large villas - lots of green and many nice trees and a large pond with beautiful flowers surround that lovely area or peaceful lands. Service was great from front desk to F&B outlets - only houskeeping need some improvements.
Coffee pads for the in room coffee machine are too expensive (charge per each of coffee pad is 80 Baht) - but since I am a coffee lover i was use it up anyway and take the downside to pay for it.
Outstanding services by the new chef "Gerome" - he prepare such nice delicious dishes for us by simply asking what is available and would be his suggestion ... nice tartare - beautiful tasty rack of lamb / perfect steak or seafoods ..... is not really cheap but once a while worth asking for his suggestion and try it out ..... we simply loved his cooking.
Breakfast buffet only open when a minimum occupancy - is small but all fresh and nice presentation. When no buffet can select from an A la carete menue a wide variation of nice dishes.
Platinum benefits recognition was just perfect - with nice afternoon tea/coffee and a nice variation of evening coctails....
Bikes available for free to explore the area around the resort - they are mostly in good condition and is really worth to take a ride along the beach in both directions at the beach road - sit down somewhere and have a nice cold drink or first class fresh crabs near the beach - visit the local market or near by village.
The staff is very friendly and simply charming - especially want to name Ms. Naruemon from.Front Deska and Ms. Faer from the resturant -also Mr. Gerome Chef and F&B on site - would be many others to name also - but is be too much to put down all names here.....
We sure be back soon and lookig forward for the next visit already.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KimKS Great Rest & Relaxation with Privacy
The view from reception area to villas was so beautiful. Big trees with cool shade on each side of path make our steps light and cheerful. Luxury and comfortable room, clean private pool with outdoor jacuzzi, cool outside dining area, gorgeous natural reservoir in front of villa and wide open ocean view with great quality of in-room dining. Amazing destination for my family - 12th grade son, 8th grade daughter, sweet wife and me.
Hotel staffs smiled all the time and acted with warm attitude. I am a Korean and love to stay in Sheraton. I have stayed many Sheraton hotels including in Korea, USA, Vietnam, Thailand, Australia and China due to business trip and family vacation. This Sheraton Huahin Pranburi Villas in Thailand was the best rest and relaxation place for me and my family.
