Rated 5 out of 5 by Convenience in Noosa The Sheraton is a great hotel right in the heart of Hastings Street Noosa which makes it a perfect setting for short getaways where you can leave the car parked and walk to everything. Should you wish to visit Noosaville and Tewantin during your stay as well, the ferry pulls in right at the door. The hotel underwent renovations last year and the result has made the Sheraton a very comfortable and convenient place to stay. May 19, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Room Rate is one thing ... I am happy to pay a significant room rate to stay at the Sheraton in Noosa. It's well located and everything works. You pay for that, but what is irksome is the little extras that I expected would be covered by this significant room charge. ie parking, extra $18, delivery of room service $8 (what is room service if not delivered?), movie hire $15 (!!!) - luckily service not operational anyway. The little extras could, I think, be accommodated within the charge for room. Otherwise lovely! May 10, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by holiday in heaven i spent 3 days in a pool view room, upgraded due to my gold status and had a perfect stay. room was large and comfortable, kitchenette made it possible to eat in room when i felt like staying in and the balcony was a perfect place to quaff a few ales in the breeze. staff were extremely attentive and helpful . a great place to relax in your own cocoon and if required leave the for the busy world outside. i will definitely be going back again November 30, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Everything we hoped it would be We just spent 5 days at Sheraton Noosa for our 10 Year Anniversary. It was our first time staying and it was everything we expected it to be. The rooms were fantastic, the facilities were great, the Staff were so helpful, the food was beautiful. We couldn't fault anything and we can't wait to come back. February 12, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Warren/Robyn Robyn and I would like to thank everyone involved in making our weekend in Noosa at the Sheraton for our 30th Anniversary one of the best weekends ever. The memorable experience began when we made our booking with Kate in reservations, Kate was wonderful in helping me arrange our weekend. We then arrived on Friday to be greeted by Lucy on the front desk who informed us we were being upgraded to a pool view room, which was sensational. When we arrived at our room we were suprised to find a complementary bottle of sparking wine sent to us by Stephen Ferrigno. The other people we like to thank is Kate in Cato's. Michael in the River View bar and Lisa from reception who helped out on Saturday night at the RVB. Robyn and I are already discussing our holidays at Noosa in January 2013. This is our second trip to the Sheraton at Noosa and it's like coming home, you feel like your part of the family. Thanks again, Warren. May 24, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Overpriced and outdated I must say for the price I was not impressed. Our room felt like an apartment out of the 80's and needs a major upgrade. The overall hotel also seems to require a major facelift. The location is great and the pool facility was nice but otherwise I did not feel like I got the value for the price paid for this stay. Rated 5 out of 5 by We loved this place What a great stay. Friendly staff, loved our room, the pool bar, and Jamie who made our delicious breakfast each morning! Nothing was a problem for the concierge staff. The staff had a "can do" attitude. Only tip is that the website has many spelling and grammatical errors - which doesn't do the place justice! Rated 4 out of 5 by It's our place to recharge for the whole year. For the last 4 years we are staying at Sheraton. Good location, great service, excellent facilities. It's our place to recharge for the whole year. It's sad that Sheraton doesn't use lounge area every day may be for some light lunch or drinks. It's a beautiful view from the balcony. We loved sauna and Sheraton has the best sauna we have ever been to. The only problem we had that the housekeeping staff doesn't accommodate amenities for the number of people staying in the room. Always had to ask to get more stuff: soup, shampoo,towels. April 27, 2014

All the staff remember who you are from one visit to the next and children are genuinely welcome. Its like a home away from home. We will definitely be back. February 25, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Relaxing retreat We are an American family with older children traveling Australia for 6 months, and have been generally disappointed in hotels, cities, and beach communities.....until we arrived at the Sheraton Noosa. This hotel and town have finally met our expectations. The room was spacious and clean, with a lovely view of the river. We were able to prepare fresh meals with the aid of the refrigerator and microwave oven. The dishes and cutlery were much appreciated. The Sheraton is perfectly located on/near Hastings Street, an upscale road for shopping and restaurants, and a pathway to the beautiful beach. We finally found our Australian paradise, and a reason to return. I made this booking by telephone, and the reservation clerk (Jess???) was extremely helpful. She offered to help us to find our way from the train station, and was extremely cordial upon arrival. At checkout, we were delighted to meet Jon from the Bronx, NY who was extremely friendly and helpful. After 6 months of travel, with only one exception, this is the only hotel to which we would return and recommend. May 19, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by Wedding stay Sheraton Noosa has been a wonderful hotel. The recent upgrades made to the hotel make it a lot more attractive. The staff are great however the hotel needs to consider more training for their staff particularly if they want to have staff members multi tasking going from food and beverage to concierge. Flexibility is important in business but support should be provided to staff to support this requirement. May 3, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by First impressions usually last. I stayed at the noosa Sheraton before the upgrade and loved it. When they pulled out all the old parts they obviously pulled out the staff training and the recruitment of service orientated staff. After booking 15 rooms for my friends and having a duty manager call to say they would have a special room for my wife and I , we had high expectations. From the moment we arrived in the Porte cochair, our expectations were crushed. There were 2 porters on duty but none came to help with our bags. Once we struggled up the stairs with our bags we found a front desk with no staff attending it. We waited for 8 minutes and a staff member that obviously had been employed as a housekeeper but given a front office uniform attended to our check in. After another 20 mins she asked as to wait "a sec" she returned to let us know a duty manager was coming to check us in as she couldn't find our booking as it was a new system. The duty manager finally arrived from the back office only to rush our check in through and put us in the first available room. This process all took 45 mins without as much as a "sorry" or an "enjoy your stay" This process was repeated on so many occasions for our friends despite me spending time and giving another duty manager all the booking numbers and been assured all was in hand. For what should have been a great stay the front office team completely dropped the ball. May 12, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Lucky it's in a great location I was really looking forward to my holiday at the Sheraton Noosa but found it disappointing. I had booked a 'Noosa View' room but on my evening of arrival was allocated a room with no view along a corridor of similar rooms that are grouped in the 'Noosa View' category. After a protracted discussion with the duty manager a low level room that actually did have a view, over the roof of the adjoining shopping centre was found for me to move to the next morning. When advised this room was ready I phoned Guest Services for a porter to help me move my luggage. But as none came after 15 minutes, I moved myself. One morning when having a swim at the pool I asked the attendant at the poolside bar for a cup of tea, however he said he'd have to check with the kitchen if that was possible, that it would take quite some time for it to come. His body language also clearly indicated that it was all too much trouble, so I told him not to worry about it. He seemed quite pleased. On another occasion as there was no one at the reception desk as I walked past on my way to the beach I thought I would ask for a beach towel at the pool bar. When I did ask, the attendant pointed to the cupboard and told me to help myself and get my own. On a positive note the lady who delivered a room service meal and the cleaning lady were very nice. Overall the service leaves a lot to be desired. The hotel clearly relies on its location which allows it to be well patronised with this level of service. May 12, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Poor Execution We visited this hotel on the 21/1/14 for our 25th wedding anniversary. We booked through a third party company & was told that we could have a 12pm check in.After waiting 3 hrs we received our room which was meant to have a spa but we received a disabled suited room. We then finally got to have a swim and proceed to order a cocktail which took 20mins to arrive due to a staff shortage. The whole hotel seemed to be running at below average staff levels which I wonder why given the unemployment levels on the coast. It made what I would have thought a Sheraton experience to be no better than any run of the mill motel January 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wow what a fantastic property From the moment we arrived at the The Sheraton Noosa Resort and Spa we knew we had chosen well. The staff are all so friendly and attentive, the accommodation is just beautiful and the rooms are huge. The pool is magnificent and the location could not be better. The property is very clean throughout and very modern too. Easy walking onto Hastings street for a spot of shopping, jumping on a cruise boat up the river or swimming, surfing or running, walking etc at the beach. Many picturesque walks close by too. We are so relaxed now and enjoyed our stay so much we would like to make it a yearly event for sure and we will. Thanks so much to everyone at property, you really looked after us and we will definitely be back. March 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel is perfection I stayed in this hotel recently with my 15 year old daughter , and I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience . From the perfect room to the perfect view of the point from our balcony, to the perfect air conditioning system. It was clean, beautiful to the eye and in a perfect spot - secluded yet central. I felt totally spoilt- and my daughter enjoyed the huge swimming pool with up to the minute music - Being a stone's throw to the beach was a huge bonus - luxury to the hilt ! I would definitely recommend it ! Thank you Sheraton Noosa for clearing away my cobwebs and making me feel fit and terrific! January 24, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Comfort and Relaxation This is at least our 10th trip to the Sheraton Noosa over the past 17 years. Our first time without the tribe in tow. We keep coming back because it never disappoints. We stayed in an unrenovated room, which was still comfortable. The champers on the balcony overlooking the pool each afternoon will be missed. My wife hates the easy chair without arms. Our room was cleaned on time each day and the pool bar was a great place to unwind. A couple of things could be improved. The ice buckets from the rooms have disappeared and it is a nuisance that the free WiFi cannot be accessed from the room. The Riverside Lounge used to be a great hang out. Unfortunately it has lost its "vibe". January 17, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by one night stay I stayed at several occasions at this hotel before. The hotel is now nicely renovated and with good taste. The location is perfect and most of the rooms have a pleasant view. Congratulations to the new restaurant. Service is is excellent: friendly, efficient and professional; what an improvement! Food was good and I would eat there again. Staffing at reception is friendly but a bit slow and at times and sometimes there is a long wait,or, no-one at all at the desk. This hotel is excellent for vacations and week-end breaks. March 21, 2014

Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed Well, the rainbow suite was said to be new and the nicest in the hotel with full kitchen, at least that's what the lady on the phone said when we booked. The room was mouldy, stank and has a massive puddle in the corner of the room. It was a kitchenette and not a kitchen like we were told. We were moved rooms and had 2 joining rooms, one of them was damp smelly and mouldy too! We came home 3 days early as we were so disappointed. The staff however were very understanding but they were severely let down with by the hotel itself. Incredibly over priced hotel and a very disappointing trip January 27, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Our stay 1. it took 30 mins to check in as we were told the life story of our check in lady of her commute from Forrest lakes and this would have been fine if she shared and continued to check in at the same time. 2. we ordered room service and the calamari was soggy wet, mushy and there was only 6 parts of calamari on the plate - when we shared our feed back by phone phone we were argued with by a Canadian fellow on the phone who hung up and rang back with attitued NOT fitting to a 5 star hotel. 3. we were by the pool and at 12.03pm (checkout 12pm) i orded a drink by the bar and had the blonde volubtios girl 13.4.14 run behind me and in front of on lookers wiht an asserticew voice - yuur account is clsed and you can not process that drink you have been check out. Very embarrrising 4. overall we were very disappointed with the staff and how we were abruptly treated and some of the staff were very unwilling to assist. 5. work truck that we came up in did not move off the driveway and we were still charged a "discounted" rate of $20 for street parking?? There are a few things that need improving - there was no "Guest/Hotel Services" brochure in the room so we had no idea where the Guest Laundry or other facilities were without asking Reception. Also, the rooms are a bit tired. I understand a total refurb is underway and will be completed by August 2013, so that will be terrific for the hotel. I just hope the tariffs don't go up as a result. They shouldn't as the hotel is not really "5-Star" in its present condition. Overall though, my family and I had a great stay and would thoroughly recommend the Sheraton Noosa to everyone. Rated 1 out of 5 by Shocking Communication Over Xmas we received no advice to book for dinner as it would be busy, we were turned away for breakfast as they were busy on Xmas morning with no recognition of in house guest needs. We also had 4 bottles of beer which I had purchased removed from the minibar by the minibar attendant who also left the minibar door wide open. No reason given when beers returned just simply an error and also sorry to have left door open. No compendium available and no staff advice or communication. Also check in had booked 2 rooms for us although we had paid for 1. This place is badly managed and talks the talk about customer service but does not walk the walk. I will never ever recommend this place whilst current management are in place. December 29, 2013
