Shelby at the Sheraton/Koury Convention Center in Greensboro recommended we check out this location -- and she was right about it. Rated 5 out of 5 by Couldn't have booked better I loved this resort and so did my family. The incoming/outgoing staff was friendly. There was lots to do. The concierge was helpful. can not express this resort. You have to experience it. Only problem, the spa is not open on weekends. June 9, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Accomendations/ammemties The grounds are beautiful, very well maintained. Every attratction we wanted was in very close proximity less than 2 miles. We could have just stayed on the grounds and had a wonderful time, the pool and activites for the kids AWESOME! June 17, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Stay was great, disappointed in the end... My girlfriend and I went down to relax few a few days after her son graduated from high school. We had a great time just taking it easy, enjoying the beach and reading. Our stay was wonderful. Only one thing, my girlfriend received a necklace from her son as his "graduation" gift to her using his gift money. The necklace broke the first day we were there. She laid it on her sink so she would know where it was till it was time to leave. You guessed it, we left and she forgot to go back and pick up the necklace. We called as soon as we realized she had forgotten it. The room was already cleaned but no necklace was found. In her desperation, she explained the story several times but didn't meant much sympathy and had a hard time getting to a manager. So far, no one has "found" the necklace. Our otherwise wonderful vacation will always be marred by the lost necklace! :( June 29, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Potential Exists Preface --> Gold Member / 3 Star Elite--> owners @ Westin KOR & Sheraton Broadway Plantation. Positives --> Location & Kids pool (when open for swim and not closed for e coli). Negatives/Opportunities: 1. Waited @ the Gold / Platinum spot at the check desk in for 15 minutes and was completely ignored. Ended up standing in the other line just to get checked in. 2. Bathroom sink water smelled like rotten eggs. 3. Public restrooms were disgusting & smelled like urine from mid morning on. 4. Front desk person very rude - had to escalate to shift manager. 5. Kid's pool area closed for 2 of the 5 days visited due to resort not enforcing swim diapers / closing pool for 15 minutes each hour to ensure regular bathroom breaks (staff was laughing about this). 6. Many people smoking in public, especially around the pool area. Please confine to certain areas. 7. No prevention / enforcement of people reserving tables & chairs @ 7am but never used for the entire day especially around the bar area. {Have tables for bar patrons only to at least eat} 8. An expanded food offering would be nice as well. I may just be used to WKOR and the items above may be related to the area in general. However, despite the negatives --> the place has tremendous potential - I wish they could address the items mentioned above. We will give them one more shot next year. June 18, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by starwood not We were dissapointed with this location. You are not acknowledged as a Starwood Gold, The fitness room was sparse and unkept as was the pool. The pool says it opens at 7am. On the the 4 days we there it was not open. The "hot tub spa" was not clean. The Bartender had to ask me 3 times whether I wanted lemon or lime..and he still did not get it right. The front desk people were fairly new. So if I did have a question it seems it had to be checked out with someone else. There were only two computers and every time I tried to use one there were kids playing games on them. August 21, 2012

Five minutes from the beach, Broadway down the road etc. I was disappointed in the lack of gas grills and the dirty sidewalks from the geese. I would also like to see more of an Orlando theme - the store and restaurant on the premises. Overall I would come back again and the staff and housekeeping -five star !!! June 7, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great hotel, some staff iffy Took my family to this resort. Great family hotel. Great pool area, 3 regular pools, lazy floating river and entire separate kiddie pool area with slides. Staff was accommodating and they do recognize status at check-in (platinum for me) and did allow me to do a later checkout which was very appreciated. The only negative I had, was staff entering my suite. I had the room service staff call each day offering service if I wanted it. I declined, but during the afternoon when my wife and kids were sleeping, the staff came in anyways. Also, I had just gotten out of the shower and had staff come into the suite the next day, looking to retrieve a borrowed DVD player which we did not have. When i put on clothes and went to the door, I could hear the person asking what room he was supposed to get the player from and it was not our room. Makes me wonder how often staff goes into our rooms when we are not there. Overall, great family resort, great location (much better than down in the heavy traffic areas), close enough to quickly drive to the beach less than a mile away, near the Broadway on the Beach area with many restaurants, shops and movie theater. Rated 3 out of 5 by Great for a short stay Positives: clean and nicely decorated room, a variety of spas and pools; well maintained fitness center, good internet connection, pleasant staff. Negatives: disappointed that outdoor snack bar was closed - as vacation owners we expect all amenities to be available. Splash Cove also closed and there were many families with children (not ours). SPG status not recognized; no one realized the message light on our phone wasn't working so we missed opportunity for an owner's review at an acceptable time for us. Received welcome package the day before we left. October 10, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by Myrtle Beach experience The 2-bedroom villa is very nice, but the A/C thermostat is in the living which means if you close the bedroom doors, it's either too hot or too cold in the bedrooms. We had a toilet that needed repairing and upon check-in found dead mosquitoes in the tub. The Internet access is absolutely horrible. It's "free" but you're better off going to Starbucks. I sent the property an email about this the first night we were there and never heard back. The Front Desk attendant couldn't offer much assistance either. The pools are nice and the kids love the heated lazy river. The water slide and splash area is NOT heated. April 28, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Stay but please no spiders! The room was great and was very comfortable. Rooms look very modern and clean, However there were lots of spider webs I had to clean out from ceilings and saw lots of crawling spiders in the room during my one night stay that often made me uncomfortable and tingly when trying to sleep. I enjoyed being on the first floor and having a room close to the pool area. Pool area is a great attraction, so are the free shuttles to and from Broadway at the Beach. With the holiday, price of room was ridiculously higher than usual especially with a check out time of 10am that I could not get extended to at least noon. With me only staying one night, a 10am checkout time was way to early for my family of 4. SPG member benefits didn't seem to do me any good in having extra service or accommodations at this resort. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Family Vaca Facility We absolutely LOVED staying at this facility. As an SPG member I got a good rate and location was convenient to activities. We barely wanted to Only 2 small flaws (which is good in my book) Need a bigger fitness center, had a little bit of a line forming to get on machines and DEFINITELY get a better Internet Network. Took almost 3-5 minutes for sites to pop up. End up using 3G on my phone for faster service. Overall, it was great and we'll definitely be back. October 12, 2012

Rated 2 out of 5 by Nice facilitites but...... The facilities were nice (room, pool, etc), but we stayed on the first floor and had Palmeto bug (think big roaches) issues. Killed one the first night, informed the front desk, saw another two days later that I sprayed with newly bought Raid. The manager was good enough to discount the room once I spoke with her and was ready to leave. Two other things; crazy towel rules where you need cards for the pool to get towels (they charge if not returned to checkout w/i 24 hrs) and you need to exchange dirty towels in room for new ones, no extras. Also, call you every morning at 9 to see if you want housekeeping, don't use do not disturb cards. Lastly, asked for a later checkout than 10am and was told no before even asking how much later I wanted to be. Staff was mostly nice, but seem constricted by not to friendly guest rules. Rated 2 out of 5 by needs new mattress The condo was beautiful and very clean but it was by far the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in. I expected, having the Sheraton name, that the bed would be comfortable which is why I chose this facility. I was also disappointed to learn (and not until I asked about it at check in) that the indoor pool was closed until several days after our leave. Had we known this ahead of time, we would have chosen one of the oceanfront hotels. November 12, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Mrs. This resort was a comfortable place to stay; The facility has great amenities to keep you as busy and or comfortable as you wish to be. The only problem was: A call was made to guest services in the early a.m. to receive towels and toiletries and the items were not received; Thereby another call had to be made that evening when I returned back to the resort for something I thought, would have been there already. They Sheraton Preferred Guest and Sheraton Broadway Plantation are in the business of take your money and run. All sales and NO I repeat NO service! The hound and hound you for fees even when they are paid! They send intimidating and mean letters, they hound you with auto phone calls for money, but talk to a person who cares, forget it, help you actually use your timeshare or its benefits forget it. I was in tears tonight over false harassment, is that what vacation money should be spent on? Tears. SVO Management disgusts me and I hope this business runs itself into the ground. March 26, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not SPG Qualtiy 1. Security personnel at the front greeted you with a very unwelcoming hi, good evening, nothing....just name please. 2. Informed by security that drinks were not allowed in the water (no signage) and that if a drink was accidentally spilled in the pool area that all the water would have to be drained...seriously....ever heard of swim up pool bars. 3. Drinks at the pool bar are way overpriced - not to mention the 18% gratuity automatically added on. Even broadway on the beach drinks are cheaper. 4. All in all - just did not feel welcomed - felt as if you were just another check in..perhaps ok for most hotels/resorts...just not what I have come to expect from Sheraton properties. April 30, 2014

Rated 2 out of 5 by Accommodations Sliding panel door in bathroom fell off its hinges locking my sister inside. The Jacuzzi tub not in working order at check in. Light bulb popped over dining table. Ants invaded room while workers were power washing building.Lighting was deplorable throughout villa. Not enought waste paper baskets. Felt nickeled & dimed for extra wash powder to having towels cleaned.. September 15, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great family resort We stayed in a premium one bedroom. The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc., and some of the pools (7 total) were heated. We went with our kids and we really enjoyed our stay. The front desk staff was top notch and very accommodating. We truly enjoyed our stay. May 14, 2013
