Rated 3 out of 5 by MAS54 Horrible Noise at Midnight and 6 am
Checked into room# 5085 for a 2 night stay. Room was overlooking mountain but above loading dock. Every night around midnight, we were awaken for 5-10 minutes with staff throwing empty glass bottles into dumpsters just above our room. Then again at 6am, awaken by staff doing same thing. Called the front desk the 1st time and they said they couldn't do anything since the resort was sold out. Same exact thing happened the 2nd night. Called again and said they would change our room but we are checking out. Didn't even offer any discount on the room where other resorts would do something to re-imburse you for 2 nights of no sleep. Obviously, front desk staff didn't do anything and paying $480/night for a room here is a JOKE!!!!!!
Would never stay here again and hope no one else has the same experience. Big disappointment for this type of resort.

The service and the food at this property is on point with St. Regis and Four Seasons properties we have stayed at. We had two families with two 2 year olds staying at the Phoenician Residences and the experience couldn't have been any better. The private pool and hot tub were perfect for the kids and adults to enjoy. I cannot express enough on how impressed we were with the service, food, and overall experience at the Phoenician. This has turned into year one of an annual trip.

Rated 1 out of 5 by MatthewL Phoenician Golf Experience Poor
I arrived at the pro-shop on Saturday [Sep 15, 2014] and the level of customer service was very poor. The guys in the pro-shop were very unresponsive or receptive to conversation to my general questions regarding the course [since it was my first visit] and when asked to sign up to play... the first remark I was asked if I was staying at the resort??? My answer was no that I was a resident of the area and pro-shop staff said I would need to be staying at the resort to sign up for a tee-time and use facilities... After a long awkward moment of silence, I then replied.. couldn't I just sign up for a tee-time without staying at the Star-wood resort [I'm also a GOLD MEMBER for Starwood]. Staff said "YES" then I thought to myself why would he make this so difficult and awkward for me... Overall, very poor customer service and staff [to include cart boys] were not receptive to being generally social able or courtesy. I'll take my money elsewhere and re-consider my GOLD membership with Starwood after this event.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MNTraveler81 Great for a weekend away!
After deciding to go all out on a weekend away to Scottsdale, I figured this would be a wonderful way to do it....and boy, was I VERY happy I chose this property. From the secluded location of the Residences, to the great staff at the resort, to the immaculate housekeeping and private pool, this was just beyond amazing.

This resort was amazing - the only issues were one off incidents that would not normally occur.
The pool was gorgeous, the venues were done very well. The food is great and everyone is very friendly. Very close to the mall and a great golf course on site.
