Rated 5 out of 5 Great Trip / Great Beach / Great Food Let me start by saying I am an associate of Starwood and have a great benefit of good rates staying at our properties. After saying that, we're often given not so special treatment and given the room overlooking the parking lot. Not so at this property. From the moment we entered we felt welcomed. Our Check in went smoothly and were given a room overlooking the pool / ocean. We walked the beach daily collecting some great shells. People complain of the walk to the beach but we timed it and actually takes 3 min. Really?? Enjoy it... Nate in the bar is an asset to this property. Very good at what he does.. Thanks also to Sasha on his day off.. The food is delicious!! We ate here every night and enjoyed every meal. We attended the Eagles/Bucs game and it's only took us 30 min. Thanks for everything.. Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent staff The staff was beyond accommodating. We were able to check in early and out late to catch some sunshine. The rooms are nice, but we were by an elevator which was noisy at times the first night and would request an pool side view on next visit away from the elevator. The staff was very accommodating with any request or problems. Only drawback is You have to pay per device per day for wi-fi and refrige and no breakfast other than at restaurant. The beach is very large and private and nice places to eat locally. Be sure to ask David at the pool for recommendations. Watch out for fog in December December 13, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing facility, excellent staff - can't wait to go back!!! I stayed at the Sheraton Sand Key last weekend for a girls weekend with my old college roommate. The hotel has a great location on the island, beautiful beach, large hot tub, excellent Club Lounge, lovely views of the gulf and impeccable service. From the front desk staff to the manager, from to the pool equipment guy to the pool bartender, from the Club Lounge attendant to the housekeepers and from the parking attendant to the concierge, every single person we encountered was so incredibly friendly, helpful and kind. A truly memorable time at a stellar hotel. I definitely plan to return with my husband and children. Thanks for providing us with the perfect environment for a relaxing, carefree weekend - exactly what we needed! December 12, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Recent Stay for Conference and Catered Services I travle over 20 weeks a year and stay at a variety of hotels across the US. This hotel is by far my favorite. During my recent stay I contracted a catered dinner on Monday, December 3, and a Hospitality Suite on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 and Melissa Fox and her staff at the hotel did a fantastic job of hosting the event. My thanks to the hotel and Melissa for another successful dinner and stay. December 11, 2012

Rated 3 out of 5 by No sun at the Pool The hotel and staff were excellent however the pool deck lost all sun by 12:30pm. Then the walk along the beach to the waterside was far. There was also some room renovations taking place on my floor and the hammering started at 9am. December 10, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by This Hotel has a very Friendly staff You feel very welcomed throughout your stay. Very helpful and accommodating staff. Great dining room staff and creative chef and his kitchen staff. We ate at the bisto for five nights eating the fish that we caught and the chef prepared. Can not get better than that. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great location and setting We enjoyed our stay and, while not exactly a waterfront property, we found the setting to our liking. The expanse of sand between the hotel and the Gulf was clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. Although we generally like to visit different places, we would love to return to this location. The restaurant was excellent. November 28, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Thanksgiving We always stay here when we come to visit family. Rooms could use some updating, but overall you can't beat the service here. The front desk bends over backwards for you, as well as the bartenders, wait staff. Rusty's T-Giving feast is out of this world. The bellman are the best!! November 27, 2012

The hotel was in magnificent order the staff were so helpful and very friendly towards myself and kids. The pool was beautiful and the food was of top quality. Rated 4 out of 5 by Peaceful, Serene, Private Beach I have stayed here a couple times in the last year when family came into town to visit. I have yet to be upgraded to a suite (was told they only have 10 suites and they get a lot of Platinum members). Lounge was pretty nice - snacks, beer, wine, and Liquor! The beach here is amazing. Very peaceful and not as busy as Clearwater beach just across the bridge. Easy to get to Clearwater beach by taking the "Jolly Trolly". Excellent service. Ate at two of the onsite restaurants and both were pretty good. Would definitely recommend. November 21, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great for families, not couples My husband and I came here, using SPG points, for a warm getaway. The hotel is nice, but I wished it hadn't been so crowded. Our room was clean, but noisy with being right by the dumpsters and had thin walls. The pool was very clean, but it was hard to enjoy with all the kids and kid activities. We mostly stayed on the deck and laid out when we were there. The beach is quite far from the hotel even though it is a beach front property. The local area is great and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a great time at the bar chatting with the bar tender. Over all it was nice, but not really for couples. November 18, 2012

Rated 3 out of 5 by Overpriced / Underquality This motel is way overpriced for what you get and even for where it is at. It is a modestly equipped motel room with no frills and overpriced amenities. I don't know what makes this hotel so important that they feel they can charge so much for what is included in most other motels. November 14, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wow - top notch service There was not one department that did not exceed our expectations, from check in, room service, hotel bar, pool bar, store, pool help, maid service etc. I don't want to leave anyone out since every step we took they treated us outstanding.
