Set apart from the hustle and bustle of San Diego's downtown life, many of the same buildings that stood more than a century ago still stand. The Fallbrook Historical Society's Museum is a large, one-room museum. In the middle of the room, a large model of Fallbrook more than a century ago displays the original train tracks that went through the town. Along the walls of the room, the museum is sectioned off by display cases that allow guests to take themselves on a self-guided tour from the early days of Fallbrook to just a few years ago. For those who think the Fallbrook Historical Society Museum only displays information about Fallbrook, the museum includes information on Bonsall, Duluce, and Rainbow. Call ahead for hours.
