Located in the heart of the Adams Avenue bar and pub district, this new entry occupies the same historic brick building as neighborhood landmark bar Rosie O'Grady's. A young, bright staff jumps to pour selections from a wall full of on-tap specialties, some of which change weekly. Raspberry Belgian Trappist Ale, anyone? Or choose a local San Diego artisanal brew like Coronado's Mermaid Ale. Aside from the vast brew list, there's also fun food made with many locally-sourced ingredients, including hand-flipped pizzas twirled before your eyes by adroit chefs. Feeling blah? B.L.A.H. will remedy that. - deTraci Regula
