The Fallbrook Gem and Mineral Society is dedicated to mineralogy, paleontology, and similar earth sciences. Visitors can peruse their museum or participate in one of their many events. The Gem and Mineral Society holds various events throughout the year, including beading, grab bag-making, and work parties that include potluck lunches. They also participate in various local events, such as the San Diego County Fair. For those interested in using the Fallbrook Gem and Mineral Society’s meeting room for their own conferences, they rent it out by the hour. And for those interested in learning more about mineralogy or any of the related fields of science, they can visit the Society’s virtual store on their website. - Erick Pettersen
