Napoleone's Pizza House is a long-running pizza house in National City. It may seem a little gritty at times, but that's all in keeping with its history. Legendary gravelly-voiced musician Tom Waits toiled here as a teenager serving pizza to sailors, motorcyclists and other colorful southern California characters. If you stop in, you can also get cheap pasta and pitchers of beer, and join in on the people-watching.
