This restaurant has received much praise from City Weekly, Salt Lake's independent news magazine. If you are new to Indian fare, the Star is quite friendly to the palate. Pick your own degree of spiciness (medium, hot, etc.). Vegetarians will also feel welcomed with the Pure Vegetarian Thali, which gives you a taste of many dishes, Nan and Kheer, a bread and dessert are included. The interiors are plain, but the food is extraordinary. A beer and wine list is available upon request.
