Forest Dale Historic District

Historic District.

Simpson Avenue
Salt Lake City  84106
United States

The Forest Dale Historic District is an integral part of the Sugar House area. It is bounded by 700 East, Interstate 80, Commonwealth Avenue, and 900 East. In 1890, the cohesive core of the Forest Dale Historic District was attached to it. Though the surrounding area is heavily infested with traffic, the Forest Dale Historic District manages to retain its serenity owing to the thick trees that line the area. The houses and bungalows from the 1890s era are still intact. A walk through this area will give you a chance to see structures based on the Late Victorian and High Victorian Eclectic styles of architectural designing.
