Center Chorale: Orff's Carmina Burana
"Carmina Burana" is Carl Orff's most widely recognized music. This visceral, intoxicating piece is best known for its massive and haunting movement "O Fortuna," which has served as background music for dramatic moments in countless movies and TV series. Experience it in person when the Center Chorale, the resident choir of the California Center for the Arts in Escondido, performs the whole work. They'll be joined by soprano, bass and tenor soloists, two pianos and percussion for a truly striking and dramatic effect.
