Nanjing, the capital of the Jiangsu Province, is located in the southwest of the Jiangsu Province on the banks of the Yangtze River. Nicknamed “Ning,” its other name is Jinling. Nanjing spans 2,400 years and is China’s largest inland port, with cultural and historical sites galore. The Stone Citadel, the former Imperial Palace of the Ming Dynasty, the bands of the Qinhuai River, Dr. Sun Yat Sen’s Mausoleum, and the Rainflower Terrace are just a few of the sites worth seeing.
