Discuss the day’s plans or recount its adventures at our signature restaurant, Reef, a Feast Restaurant by Sheraton. Boasting the warm atmosphere of a local market, it showcases elaborate woodwork that underscores native design and spans from the exposed-beam ceiling and thatched roof to the ornate chandeliers, planked floors, and dark tables. Framed floor-to-ceiling windows wash the space in natural light and at the same time provide views of the outdoor dining terrace and lagoon. Indigenous details, including and patterned pillars and table linens, and neutral tones add to simultaneously welcoming, elegant design.
These authentic touches also set the stage for the restaurant’s imaginative breakfast buffet and dinner options. Featuring local ingredients, they are influenced by the heritage of the region's five major cultural groups: North African, Asian, Melanesian, New Caledonian, and French—more specifically: Melanesian and New Caledonian outback traditions, Kabila and Berber cuisine, and the expertise of the prestigious French gastronomy.
À la carte dinner specialties include lamb tagine, bouillabaisse, sautéed beef stew deer, and Caledonia shrimp salad. Live wok, pasta, and pizza stations enhance the epicurean options and experience. On Friday and Saturday nights and during local holidays, we also offer a buffet dinner.
A children’s menu serving everything from burgers and fries to seasonal vegetable stew and oven-baked fish fillet guarantees there is something for the whole family.
Stir up stories at the Creek Bar. Nestled next to our Beachfront Infinity Pool, it welcomes guests with characteristic wooden décor that includes an exposed-beam ceiling, ornate chandeliers, and locally inspired details, including patterned pillars. These natural accents extend to the framed floor-to-ceiling windows that open to reveal fresh ocean breezes, our inviting pool, and the blue lagoon beyond.
Settle into a cozy sofa or easy chair, or perch at the wraparound bar, then select from an extensive menu of tempting beverages. Signature cocktails incorporate house-made flavored rums that range from anise and pepper to hibiscus passion and lychee coconut. Other trademark libations include our hibiscus bellini, guava deva, and over 35 rum cocktails, which highlight our 30-bottle collection of rum. Along with these refreshing sips, we offer non-alcoholic beverages, a selection of wines and rums from around the world, and an array of tapas.
On select occasions, the bar hosts a live band.
True to its name, the Sand Beach Grill is perched beachside, overlooking the picturesque lagoon. The casual restaurant’s creative open-air design highlights the unbeatable location with a shaded terrace topped with intimate sitting areas, formed by wicker couches and chairs, and traditional dining tables, some of which are directly in the sand.
Innovation also pervades the French-influenced menu. Designed by Chef Pascal Didier, it invites guests to select market-fresh meat or fish from the featured board, then decide how they would like it prepared. Next, come their choice of side dishes and sauce. Just as in a cooking show, the custom order is prepared right in front of their eyes.
Our daily offerings change according to the season, but often include: shrimp, beef tenderloin, kebabs, caesar salad with tuna smoked in the restaurant kitchen, and freshly baked Sand Beach Grill bagna bread.
For our youngest guests, we also offer a children’s menu featuring fries, smash potatoes, vegetable stew, and more.
