Accessibility Policy

Hotel has one wheelchair available for guest use with a staff member present. Scooter and additional wheelchair can be rented through the concierge. Please email for assistance.

Alcohol Policy

Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 18 years or older.

Age Requirement Policy

Guests must be 18 years or older with photo identification to reserve a room.

Check Policy

Banker’s and traveller’s cheques are not accepted.

Connecting Room Policy

Connecting rooms are subject to availability but cannot be guaranteed. Please contact the hotel directly to request connecting rooms or to request a room with a specific view or on a specific floor.

Currency Fluctuations

Rates confirmed in USD are guaranteed in U.S. dollars when paid in U.S. cash or traveler's checks. Payments made by credit cards at the hotel will be charged in the local currency equivalent based on the daily exchange rate used by the hotel. Currency conversions by banks or credit card companies in processing payments are not within the control of the hotel and are subject to exchange rate fluctuations.

Early Departure Policy

In the event of early departure, 24 hours notice (by 6pm local time of the day prior) of the revised departure date is required to avoid a one-night penalty charge at the confirmed rate, excluding local taxes.

Early Arrival Policy

Guaranteed check-in time is 3pm. The hotel is unable to guarantee early check-in unless the room is reserved for the night before. For rooms not booked for the night before check-in, the hotel will do its best to accommodate guests as quickly after check-in as possible.

Extra Bedding Policy

One extra bed can be placed in all rooms except Classic rooms. A daily charge of  50.00 GBP plus taxes will apply for guests 12 years old and over. Children’s beds and cribs are provided free of charge.

Family Plan Policy

Children who are 12 or younger sleep for free in the existing bedding of a room shared with a paying adult. Rollaways, child rollaways and cribs may incur extra charges.

ID Requirement

For security purposes, valid photo identification is required at check-in. Acceptable forms include a drivers license, passport, and/or proof of age card.

Late Checkout Policy

Late checkout is subject to availability. A late checkout before 6pm incurs an hourly fee of 18 GBP, including VAT. A late checkout after 6pm incurs a full night’s charge. For more information, please contact the Front Desk directly.

Pet Policy

Dogs weighing less than 40 pounds (18.14 kilograms) are allowed in guest rooms at no extra charge, in accordance with local health codes. Guide dogs are not subject to weight limits. A pet liability waiver must be signed upon arrival. A “pet in room” sign must be displayed on a guest room’s door. Dogs cannot be left alone in a guest room, must be leashed or muzzled in public areas, and are not allowed in food and drink venues. The hotel reserves the right to charge a guest’s credit card for additional cleaning and excessive damage caused by a dog. For more information, please contact the hotel directly.

Credit/Debit Card Policy

Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.

Payment Policy

Third Party Credit Card –  Third party credit card forms are not accepted. Please contact the internal reservations team at (44)(207) 290 7575 for a pro forma invoice. Bank transfers and CHAPS payments are accepted.

Cheque – Banker cheques are not accepted. Traveller’s cheques are accepted for payment or exchange. Guest must show valid passport for the transaction.

Direct Bill – Direct billing is only available after approval of the credit manager. The company to be invoiced must fax an invoice request to the hotel and include the specific charges to be invoiced.

Smoking Policy

Smoking (including electronic cigarettes) is not permitted in the hotel’s public areas and guest rooms. A 250 GBP cleaning fee will be charged to any guest who violates this policy.

Visa/Passport Policy

Foreign travelers must provide a passport or registration certificate (with document number and place of issuance). Foreign travelers are persons who are not citizens of the British Isles, the Republic of Ireland, or any Commonwealth country or Protectorate.
