Hotel Closure January 9 - 23, 2014
From January 9 through January 23, 2014, the hotel will be closed for renovation. The property will reopen on January 24, 2014. Please contact the hotel for further information.
Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 21 years or older with valid identification.

Personal checks are not accepted. In addition, the hotel does not offer check cashing services.

Early Departure Policy
There is a $50 charge for guests checking out prior to their scheduled departure date.
Early Arrival Policy
There is no fee for arrivals between 10am and 3pm; however, check-in is not guaranteed any time before 3pm.
Extra Bedding Policy
Rollaways are available for a fee but are not permitted in rooms with two double beds.
Gift Certificate Policy
To purchase or redeem a gift certificate, please contact the hotel directly.
For security purposes, valid photo identification is required at check-in. Acceptable forms include a drivers license, passport, and/or proof of age card.
Late Checkout Policy
Checkout time is noon. Late checkouts cannot be guaranteed. A fee of $50 plus taxes will apply for late checkouts until 4pm. After 4pm, a full night’s rate plus taxes will be charged.
Package Handling Policy
There is a package handling fee for all incoming and outbound packages. Please contact the hotel directly for the exact fee.
There is no charge for one dog weighing 40 pounds or less. Fees apply for additional dogs per guest room and for dogs weighing over 40 pounds. Guests must sign a waiver at check-in. The pet cannot be left unattended and is not allowed in food and beverage areas. Additional fees may apply for damage caused by the pet. Pets are allowed in Traditional rooms only. Cats are not permitted. Please contact the hotel for more details.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
This hotel does not accept money orders or personal checks. A valid credit card or check is required at check-in for the payment of the room, tax, and incidentals. Credit cards will be authorized for 20% of the room and taxes per night to cover incidental charges.

The Sheraton Nashville Downtown Hotel is 100% non-smoking. There will be a cleaning fee of $200 charged for smoking in a guest room.
Tax Exempt Policy
In order to qualify for a sales tax exemption, you must supply a valid Tennessee State tax exemption form and pay with a business check or business credit card. Tax exemptions cannot be made for guests paying with a personal check or personal credit card.
