Sheraton on the Park features a wheelchair ramp at the porte-cochère. All of our restaurants are also wheelchair accessible. Parts of the hotel that are not wheelchair accessible are the pool area and spa. Our hotel offers complimentary wheelchairs for less mobile guests in the hotel and can also arrange for the rental of wheelchairs for external use. Wheelchair access ramps are conveniently located at the front of the hotel on Elizabeth Street, allowing for easy access from the street front.
The hotel features three accessible rooms located on levels 5, 7 and 9, which are available upon request and are equipped with special larger showers, low switches, hand rails, additional space around the bed, and other disabled friendly amenities. These showers feature curtains instead of doors, so guests can wheel a chair straight in. Shower wheelchairs are available upon request.
Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 18 years or older with valid identification.
Connecting rooms are available upon request. We offer interconnecting king and twin rooms, including Executive Suites and Hyde Park View twin rooms or the Ambassador Suite with City View twin room. Please contact the hotel directly to make these arrangements.
A 1.5 percent fee applies to all transactions settled by credit card in the hotel and dining venues. This fee will be added to the total of the transaction.
All payments made with an Australian credit card must be confirmed via PIN number; signatures will not be accepted.
A credit card preauthorisation will be taken at check-in. If the room is prepaid, the preauthorisation will be 100 AUD per night. If the reservation is not prepaid, the credit card will be authorised for the amount of the accommodation plus an additional 40% per night for incidentals.
Rates confirmed in USD are guaranteed in U.S. dollars when paid in U.S. cash or traveler's checks. Payments made by credit cards at the hotel will be charged in the local currency equivalent based on the daily exchange rate used by the hotel. Currency conversions by banks or credit card companies in processing payments are not within the control of the hotel and are subject to exchange rate fluctuations.
Rollaway beds are available upon request and for a nightly fee.
When accompanied by an adult, children under 12 years of age are welcome in the Sheraton Club Lounge until 5pm.
Each child incurs an additional charge of AUD 110, which includes a rollaway bed. Complimentary cribs may be available on request.
The hotel sells gift cards that can be customised for specific dollar amounts. Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Please note that for security purposes, guests checking in will be asked to provide a valid government or state-issued photo ID. Guest ID must match the name and credit card details used to make the booking.
The late checkout fee varies, depending on the time of day. For checkouts before 12 Noon, there will be no late fee. Late checkouts between 12 Noon and 2pm carry a fee of $50. For checkouts between 2pm and 4pm, the fee will be $100. For checkouts between 4pm and 6pm, the fee will be equal to half of one night’s room rate plus tax (minimum $150). Guests checking out after 6pm will be charged one night’s room rate plus tax. Please contact the hotel for further information.
Parties are not permitted within hotel rooms or suites. Please contact the hotel manager for further details. Any noise complaints will result in eviction from the hotel without refund of the first night's rate.
Our Executive Suite only can accommodate two adults plus two children 17 years and under. A rollaway bed will be required for each child (for a fee). A maximum of three guests is allowed in all other rooms, in compliance with fire codes.
Day use rates apply to standard view rooms, are subject to availability and must be confirmed directly with the hotel. Day use rooms are generally held from 9am to 5pm. Early arrival is not guaranteed.

Guests paying in cash will be asked to pay full accommodation rates plus $300 deposit per day for incidentals. The unused portion of the bond will be refunded at checkout. Credit card payments will be fully pre-authorised until departure for accommodations plus $100 per night for incidentals.
All guest rooms and public spaces, including The Conservatory Bar and Feast Restaurant, are 100% non-smoking. A 350 AUD cleaning fee will be charged to any guest who violates the smoking policy within a guest room or suite.

The hotel is unable to assist with visa applications. Guests must apply for a visa with the Australian embassy in their home country.
