Dear Industry Partner,
We express our sincere appreciation for all of the well wishes, prayers and support offered to our associates and to all on our beloved island who endured this unfortunate and historical force of nature. We are pleased to say that while many of our team members suffered tremendous material losses, they are in good health and are working tirelessly to help re-establish operations.
As you may know, the Puerto Rico Tourism Co. announced that the island will not be open for leisure travelers until after October 15, 2017. However, due to the immense lodging waitlist for first responders, coupled with the extended closures of several hotels, we expect this date to be extended.
The Sheraton Old San Juan did have a complete power loss and has been closed since the hurricane. The island’s power grid is very fragile, therefore, we ask that you contact and cancel any reservations which were set to arrive between now and November 30, 2017.
We will provide updates and more on our re-opening date in the coming weeks as we continue to work toward getting back to providing all of the guest services and amenities that The Sheraton Old San Juan is known for.

Age Requirement Policy
Guests must be 21 years or older to check in.
Connecting Room Policy
Due to limited numbers, connecting rooms can not be guaranteed. Governor's suites connect to a Deluxe King room. Hotel does not have traditional kings or doubles that connect.
Family Plan Policy
Room rates include the accommodation of children (17 years old or younger) who sleep in the existing bedding of a guest room. Rollaway beds and cribs may incur extra charges.
Early Arrival Policy
Every effort will be made to ensure your room is ready at the requested time, however, during periods of high occupancy, this is not always possible. If you will be arriving before noon and must have a room available for check-in, you are advised to reserve the room for the night before and alert the hotel of your arrival time.
Early Departure Policy
Guests checking out prior to their departure date confirmed at check-in will be charged one night of the remaining length of stay.
The hotel is compliant with ADA. ADA compliant guest rooms are available.
Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 21 years or older (with valid identification).
Due to space limitations and consideration for guests’ safety and comfort, luggage is allowed in the lobby only while checking in and checking out of the hotel. Luggage can be left with our attendants if guests would like to explore the city freely before their reservation’s check-in time or for a short time after they check out.
Dogs up to 20 pounds are allowed. A deposit of $50 is required for all pets. The deposit is refundable at checkout time after a room inspection takes place.
The Sheraton Old San Juan Hotel is 100% non-smoking.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
Rates confirmed in USD are guaranteed in U.S. dollars when paid in U.S. cash or traveler's checks. Payments made by credit cards at the hotel will be charged in the local currency equivalent based on the daily exchange rate used by the hotel. Currency conversions by banks or credit card companies in processing payments are not within the control of the hotel and are subject to exchange rate fluctuations.

A valid credit card is required at check-in for payment of room, taxes, and incidental charges. If paying cash, a deposit equal to the room, tax, and $50 per day will be collected at check-in.
