Connecting Room Policy
Guest rooms with connecting doors are available. This arrangement is subject to availability upon your arrival. Please contact the hotel directly to communicate this request. The hotel offers connecting rooms with king and double beds for Traditional and Superior rooms. Deluxe rooms offer limited connecting possibilities.
Extra Bedding Policy
Rollaway beds cannot be confirmed prior to arrival and are subject to availability at check-in. Each incurs a nightly fee of $25 for a child and $30 for an adult. One rollaway bed can be delivered to a limited number of rooms furnished with a king bed. Complimentary extra Sheraton Sweet Sleeper® bedding is available upon request at check-in.
King- and double-bed rooms can accommodate a crib at no charge.

Early Arrival Policy
Although standard check-in is at 3pm, we understand that travel in today's world can take unexpected turns. The hotel offers a complimentary early check-in, subject to availability.
Early Departure Policy
Unless otherwise stated, one night’s room rate plus tax will be charged for a departure prior to the confirmed date if the hotel is notified after 12 noon on the day of arrival.
Proper government-issued photo identification is required by the Front Desk for check-in to the hotel.
Late Checkout Policy

Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 18 years or older with valid identification.
Hurricane season extends from June 1 through November 30 each year. In the event of a hurricane* in the Atlantic Ocean with Puerto Rico as a projected path, the hotel will not be accepting new reservations, and the hotel may be subject to closure or evacuation. In the event of an evacuation, the hotel will attempt to contact future guests to notify them of the situation and their reservation will be canceled without penalty. Guests that are staying at the hotel when an evacuation order is called will be transported to the airport, where air transportation will need to be arranged by the guest. During the affected period, we will waive cancellation and no-show charges. Please contact the hotel for more details.
*A hurricane is defined/validated by the National Hurricane Center, typically a tropical cyclone in which the maximum sustained surface wind is 74 mph (64 knots) or greater.
Hotel Service Fee Policy
Guest will be charged a daily hotel service charge fee of 16% on top of the room rate. This includes a daily English-language newspaper, toll-free phone calls, High Speed Internet Access, pool chaise chairs, one complimentary bottle of water per room, and access to the Sheraton Fitness Center.
Package Handling Policy
There is a package handling fee for all incoming and outbound packages. Please contact the hotel directly for the exact fee.
The hotel welcomes dogs weighing up to 40 pounds with an amenity bag, a dog bed, and a bowl for your guest room. A dog’s owner must fill out a short pet waiver. The hotel reserves the right to charge a guest’s credit card for additional cleaning and excessive damage caused by a dog. Pets must be kept on a leash or in a carrier in public areas and are not allowed in food and drink venues. Pets may not be left alone in the guest room at any time.
It is always recommended that you travel with your passport as it is the easiest document to present anywhere. However, a passport is not required for U.S. citizens when traveling to Puerto Rico. U.S. citizens entering Puerto Rico will be required to present a valid, government-issued ID and a birth certificate. A passport will be required if visiting any other islands in the Caribbean. Please contact the hotel for further information.
All guests must maintain a noise level that does not disturb other guests. If a noise complaint is reported, security will issue a warning to the offending guest’s room. If the noise or disturbance continues after three warnings, guests may be asked to leave the hotel at management’s discretion.
The hotel is 100% smoke free. There are designated smoking areas outside of building. A $200 cleaning fee will be charged to the guest’s account should smoking occur anywhere inside the facility.
The hotel is pleased to accept either your personal or business check for payment. Full room price and tax must be paid upon check-in if paid in cash or by check. All cash or check-paying guests will be required to leave a $50 (per day) deposit upon check-in to cover potential incidental charges, such as telephone calls and in-room dining. Any remaining unused cash balance will be refunded to the guest upon checkout. If these amounts are paid by check and balance is left, the refund will be serviced through accounting and a check will be sent to the guest address on file.
Check cashing services are available to guests who present valid identification. There is a limit of $100 per day. Checks are subject to approval from TeleCheck.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
Rates confirmed in USD are guaranteed in U.S. dollars when paid in U.S. cash or traveler's checks. Payments made by credit cards at the hotel will be charged in the local currency equivalent based on the daily exchange rate used by the hotel. Currency conversions by banks or credit card companies in processing payments are not within the control of the hotel and are subject to exchange rate fluctuations.
Gift Certificate Policy
The Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel & Casino is an experience to be shared. Gift certificates are accepted for payment and are subject to availability. Reservations must be confirmed prior to arrival since gift certificate cannot be accepted as payment for a room with a confirmed rate. Validity periods cannot be extended.
All cash paying guests will be required to leave a $50 (per day) deposit upon check-in, which is to cover potential incidental charges (telephone calls, in-room movies, etc.). Any remaining unused balance will be refunded to the guest upon checkout.
Debit card users will have $50 (per day) deducted from their account, and the unused balance will be refunded to the guest. Please note that depending on the bank, it may take several days for the balance to appear in the guest’s checking account.
Purchase Order Acceptance Policy
Purchase orders are not accepted as a form of payment. A valid credit card is needed to check in.
