Early Departure Policy
An early departure fee of one night's room rate plus taxes applies to guests checking out prior to their departure date confirmed at check-in. Please contact the hotel for further information.
The hotel is compliant with ADA. Disabled accessible facilities including ramp access to the building and Braille elevators are available.

Package Handling Policy
There is a package handling fee for all incoming and outbound packages. Please contact the hotel directly for the exact fee.
Dogs weighing up to 40 pounds are allowed. Guests must sign waivers at check-in and stay on the first floor. No other pets are permitted. A pet must be accompanied by an owner at all times—on a leash or in a crate—and may not be left in a room without an owner present. Guests will be responsible for repairs of excess damage or if deep cleaning is required. If damage is discovered after checkout, the credit card on record will be charged.
Service animals that provide assistance to individuals with disabilities are not considered pets. They are welcome at the hotel and are not subject to the policies and restrictions that apply to pets or other animals.
Health & Well-Being Policies
All guests must maintain a noise level that does not disturb other guests. If a noise complaint is reported, security will issue a warning to the offending guests. If the noise or disturbance continues after one warning, guests may be asked to vacate the hotel at management’s discretion.
All guest rooms, guest room balconies and public spaces are 100% non-smoking. A $200 cleaning fee will be charged to any guest who violates the smoking policy.
Check Cashing Policy
Check cashing services are available to guests who present a valid, photo identification. There is a limit of $50 per day.
Credit Card Policy
The Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel accepts credit card authorization forms.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
