Special Conditions
Use Alternate Address for GPS or Internet Mapping Websites
When using either a GPS or an internet mapping website please use “One Legoland Drive, Carlsbad CA 92008” as a point of reference. Then proceed onto Cannon Road East until Grand Pacific Drive. Take a right onto Grand Pacific Drive and continue to hotel. Please contact the hotel for further information.
Hotel Policies
ADA Policy
The hotel is compliant with ADA. ADA compliant guest rooms are subject to availability. Please call the hotel directly to confirm or note the ADA requirement in the special instructions section of your reservation.
Alcohol Policy
Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 21 years or older (with valid identification).
Check Cashing Policy
Hotel will cash personal checks for SPG Members only, with valid identification. Other conditions may apply.
Connecting Room Policy
The hotel offers connecting rooms but has limited availability. King bedded rooms adjoin to double queen bedded rooms and also double queen bedded rooms to double queen bedded rooms; however they are subject to availability upon time of check-in.
Early Arrival Policy
Check-in prior to 4pm cannot be guaranteed, but will be honored based upon availability. Check-in prior to 1pm is subject to a $50 fee and arrivals prior to 8am will be charged for an additional night.
Extra Bedding Policy
There is a $25 per night charge for a rollaway bed. Please contact the hotel for further information.
Late Checkout Policy
Guests wishing to check out late must check for availability with the Front Desk . Late checkout is not available when there is a high occupancy on the check out date. Late checkouts may be subject to a $50 fee, or and an additional night's rate after 4pm. Gold and Platinum Starwood Preferred Guests are not subjct to these fees; however, 4pm checkout can not be guaranteed to Gold and Platinum Starwood Preferred Guests. We will honor this benefit based on availability.
Pet Policy
The Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa accepts dogs only up to 80 lbs. No more than one dog per room. Please be advised that dogs must be accompanied by owners at all times. Hotel has the option to charge a cleaning fee after the room has been evaluated upon guest departure. Guests must sign pet-waiver upon check-in and will be charged a pet fee of $35 per day. Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
Resort Charge Policy
A Daily Resort Service Charge of $12, plus tax, includes: local phone calls, complementary weekday newspaper, wireless internet throughout the property and in-room, Starbucks coffee in-room, 24-hour access to the fitness center, business center and pool. Smoking Policy
All guest rooms and public spaces are 100% non-smoking. A $200.00 cleaning fee will be charged to any guest who violates the smoking policy. Smoking allowed outside Twenty/20 Restaurant.
