Early Arrival Policy
Check-in prior to 4pm cannot be guaranteed, but will be honored based upon availability. Check-in prior to 1pm is subject to a $50 fee and arrivals prior to 8am will be charged for an additional night.
Early Departure Policy
Please be advised that a fee of one night's room rate plus taxes will apply to all early departures.
Late Checkout Policy
Guests wishing to check out late must check for availability with the Front Desk . Late checkout is not available when there is a high occupancy on the check out date. Late checkouts may be subject to a $50 fee, or and an additional night's rate after 4pm. Gold and Platinum Starwood Preferred Guests are not subjct to these fees; however, 4pm checkout can not be guaranteed to Gold and Platinum Starwood Preferred Guests. We will honor this benefit based on availability.

Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 21 years or older (with valid identification).
The Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa accepts dogs only up to 80 lbs. No more than one dog per room. Please be advised that dogs must be accompanied by owners at all times. Hotel has the option to charge a cleaning fee after the room has been evaluated upon guest departure. Guests must sign pet-waiver upon check-in. Please contact the hotel for further information.
Health & Well-Being Policies
To maintain a quiet and sleep-conducive environment, the hotel has a no-party policy, with quiet hours from 10pm to 6am. If a complaint is lodged, the hotel will issue a warning to the offending guest, and all unregistered guests will be asked to leave the room. If there is a second complaint, the guest will be issued a final warning and charged a fee to compensate the complainant. If there is a third complaint, the registered guest will be evicted from the hotel without a refund.
All guest rooms and public spaces are 100% non-smoking. A $200.00 cleaning fee will be charged to any guest who violates the smoking policy. Smoking allowed outside Twenty/20 Restaurant.
Check Cashing Policy
Hotel will cash personal checks for SPG Members only, with valid identification. Other conditions may apply.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
Resort Charge Policy
A Daily Resort Service Charge of 16 USD, plus tax, includes: standard Internet access with 1.3 gigabyte for up to 3 access points, local phone calls, complementary weekday newspaper, Starbucks coffee in-room, 24-hour access to the fitness center, business center and pool.
