Special Conditions
Mandatory Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve Dinner Supplement
There will be a compulsory Christmas Eve dinner supplement for all guests staying over or arriving on December 24, 2013. The rate is 204 USD per adult and 100 USD per child for children ages 2 to 11. This will be automatically added to the room bill.
There will be a compulsory New Year's Eve dinner supplement for all guests staying over or arriving on December 31, 2013. The rate is 263 USD per adult and 129 USD per child for children ages 2 to 11. This will be automatically added to the room bill.

Currency Fluctuations
For non-US hotels, rates confirmed in USD may be converted to local currency by the hotel at your time of stay, based on the exchange rate used by the hotel and are subject to exchange rate fluctuations. Credit card charges are subject to additional currency conversions by banks or credit card companies, which are not within the hotel's control and may impact the amount charged to your credit card. Please contact the hotel if you have any questions.
Information for Guests with Children
For safety reasons, children ages 11 and under are not encouraged to stay in the Water Bungalow, Water Villa & Water Suite accommodations. For Ocean Villa accommodations, children 12 years and above are allowed when staying with parents (maximum of one child per room).

Mandatory Transportation Information
There is a mandatory speedboat transfer for all arrivals, and the transfer service is available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. The cost for the combined roundtrip transfer service from/to MLE International Airport is 113 USD per person.
For children aged 11 and under, the rate is 59 USD. Total journey time is approximately 20 to 25 minutes from/to the resort.
A private boat hire can be arranged on a request basis at a cost of 164 USD to Male’ and 152 USD to the airport per one way transfer with a maximum capacity of 2 guests. This service is subject to boat availability. Arrival and departure flight details are required.
Please note that all speedboat transfers are subject to weather conditions and may not be able to operate in extreme weather. 24 hour advance notice is required for speedboat arrangements.
Hotel Policies
Alcohol Policy
Alcohol and spirits cannot be brought into the Maldives and will be retained at customs upon arrival. Alcohol can be served to resort guests aged 18 years and above and must be consumed within the resort area.
Babysitting/Child Care Policy
Babysitting service is available upon request with a minimum of 24 hours advance notice. Rates vary and begin at USD 15 per hour (excluding service charge & GST).
Check Cashing Policy
No check cashing is available at Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa.
Connecting Room Policy
Requests for connecting rooms cannot be guaranteed at the time of booking due to limited inventory.
Credit Card Policy
All major credit cards are accepted expect Diners Club.
Dress Code
Due to Maldives' tropical climate and resort location, smart or casual wear is acceptable throughout the resort. However, footwear is requested to be worn in all restaurants. In addition:
- Swim suits must be covered while dining in all restaurants
- Wet clothing will not be permitted in the restaurants
- Wet towels will not be permitted in the restaurants
Early Departure Policy
Early departures will be treated as cancellations and will result in a 100% cancellation fee for all remaining accommodation dates.
Early Check In
The standard check in time is 2pm. Early check in between 8am and 2pm will be subject to room availability at the time of arrival and check-in cannot be guaranteed. In case of early arrival before 8am, an additional night must be pre-booked to secure room availability.
Extra Bedding Policy
Extra bedding (rollaway bed) is permitted in the Island and Beachfront Cottages only. A maximum of one rollaway bed is allowed. The extra bed is charged at $100 per night, subject to a 10% service charge, 6% GST and $8 bed tax per person per night.
Family Plan Policy
Children who are 11 or younger sleep for free in the existing bedding of a room shared with a paying adult. Rollaways, child rollaways and cribs may incur extra charges.
Occupancy Policy
All the accommodation including the Beachfront Deluxe, Water Bungalow, Water Villa and Ocean Villa can accommodate a maximum of 2 persons. No extra bed can be added in the room due to space constraints.
For families with children, the suitable choices of accommodations are the Island Cottage or the Beachfront Cottage. We allow a maximum of two adults and two children per room. Only one extra bed can be placed in these cottages.

Payment Policy
The resort accepts cash payments in US Dollars or Euros. Additionally, foreign currency exchange is available at the resort for major international currencies.
Due to rules established by Maldivian banks, the resort is not able to accept USD notes from the 1990’s or any note that is damaged (torn, dirty, pen marks).
