Sidewalk Renovation: April 1 - May 29, 2014
From April 1 through May 29, 2014, the resort is updating sidewalks to comply with new ADA requirements. Work will be done in stages to minimize inconvenience to guests. There will be some noise from jack hammering and dust from the removal of debris. Public areas will be open during the project, which will take place from 8am to 6pm on business days.
Starwood Preferred Guest Information
As a villa property, we are unable to offer select SPG® elite member benefits including upgrades, Suite Night Awards, 4:00 p.m. late check-outs and Your24. In addition, due to limited restaurants and bars, some elite welcome amenities are not available. Also, in regards to Free Night Awards:
- May only book within 365 days of arrival
- Inventory may be limited
- Starpoints acquired through conversion of a vacation ownership interest may not be redeemed for Free Night Awards at a Starwood Vacation Ownership property.
Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 21 years or older (with valid identification).
Age Requirement Policy
Guests must be 21 years or older with photo identification to reserve a room.
Check Cashing Policy
Check cashing services are available to guests who present valid photo identification. There is a limit of $50 per day.
Early Arrival Policy
We invite you to check in after 4 p.m., and request that you check out before 10 a.m. However, if your arrival or departure does not coincide with our schedule, the Front Desk will be happy to receive your bags while you enjoy the surrounding resort facilities. For your security, keys will only be given to the individual with the reservation unless other arrangements have been made.
Extra Bedding Policy
Rollaways are subject to a $5.00 per night fee (which is subject to change). Call Starwood toll free at 800-325-3535 (U.S. & Canada).
To maintain the quality of our accommodations for all of our guests, we do not allow skis to be stored in your villa. If you will have skis with you, we invite you to use the ski lockers we have adjacent to the lobby. You can pick up the keys for them at the Front Desk.

All of our nightly rental guests are provided a complete villa cleaning each day and a sheet change every third day, with the exception of those rate plans that do not include service. Verify the rate plan before booking your reservation to see if it includes daily housekeeping service.

Air Conditioned Facilities
Due to the mountain location of the resort, the guest rooms do not feature air conditioning.
In order to ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible and to keep your villa clean and comfortable, our policy is that pets are not permitted anywhere on the resort property.
Sheraton Hotels & Resorts are smoke free. Sheraton Mountain Vista is a completely smoke-free resort and prohibits smoking in your villa, on the balcony, and anywhere on the resort premises. Violation of this policy will result in a $200 non-refundable cleaning charge.
In addition, the town of Avon observes the Eagle County smoking ordinance, which prohibits smoking in public places, places of employment, service lines, recreational facilities, and outdoor seating areas.
