Starwood Preferred Guest Information
As a villa property, we are unable to offer select SPG® elite member benefits including upgrades, Suite Night Awards, 4:00 p.m. late check-outs and Your24. In addition, due to limited restaurants and bars, some elite welcome amenities are not available. Also, in regards to Free Night Awards:
- May only book within 365 days of arrival
- Inventory may be limited
- Starpoints acquired through conversion of a vacation ownership interest may not be redeemed for Free Night Awards at a Starwood Vacation Ownership property.
Hotel Enhancements and Main Entrance Relocation
From September 23 to December 7, 2013, a snowmelt system will be installed on the front drive and pool area. Due to this renovation, the hotel entrance will be relocated. Additionally, the pool and Breezeway Cafe will be closed. Signs will direct guests from Mt. Werner Circle to the hotel. Guests should park behind the hotel in the parking lot and signs will provide direction to the front desk through the convention center. As a courtesy, the hotel will offer free continental breakfast to all of our guests during the renovation period. Please contact the hotel for further information.
Hotel Closure April 13 - May 22, 2014
From April 13 through May 22, 2014, the hotel will be closed for renovation. It will reopen on May 23, 2014.
Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 21 years or older (with valid identification).
Check Cashing Policy
Check cashing services are available to guests who present a valid credit card. There is a limit of $50 per stay with Master Card and/or Visa. There is a limit of $100 per day and $250 per stay with American Express.
Early Departure Policy
In the summer season, there is an early departure fee in the amount of one night's room and tax. In the winter, late arrivals and early departures will forfeit 100% of the reservation.
Gift Certificte Policy
Please note that only gift certificates issued by the hotel are accepted. Please contact the resort to purchase and/or redeem gift certificates.
All guests are urged to buy travel insurance for reservations during ski season. The resort does not make exceptions for weather related delays, unexpected illness or injury, unexpected work related obligations or other types of personal emergencies. Travel insurance is highly recommended for every reservation. The cost is 6.95% of the total reservation including tax. Please contact the hotel for further information.

SPG Participation Disclaimer
All rooms at the Sheraton Steamboat Resort Villas are Villas; therefore, Starpoint Award reservations must be booked at a higher Starpoint rate through your local customer contact center.
Per statewide ordinance, smoking is not permitted in the resort or within 10 feet outside of the resort. Smoking is also not permitted on resort balconies. There is a $400 cleaning fee for any guest who smokes in a room or on a balcony.
