Connecting Room Policy
There are a limited number of king-bedded rooms that connect to rooms with two double beds. Connecting rooms cannot be guaranteed prior to arrival; however, all efforts will be made to accommodate connecting requests at check-in.
Early Departure Policy
An early departure of $75 applies to guests who check out prior to their scheduled departure date as confirmed at check-in. Please contact the hotel for further information.

Special Event Policy
The Sheraton Reston Hotel may enforce special event policies over high demand dates such as some holidays, sporting events, annual festivals, or other citywide events. Event policies can include pre-payment/non-cancelable requirements for room reservations, restricted access to/from the hotel, and very limited parking. Package Handling Policy
There is a package handling fee for all incoming and outbound packages. Please contact the hotel directly for the exact fee.
Dogs are allowed but may not be left in the guest room unattended. Also, dogs may not be larger than 40 pounds. A pet waiver must be signed at check-in.
Our outdoor pool is available for guest use from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend between the hours of 10am and 8pm. A certified life guard is on duty during hours of operation. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
The hotel is 100% smoke free. There are designated smoking areas outside of building. A $200 cleaning fee will be charged to the guest’s account should smoking occur anywhere inside the facility.
Check Cashing Policy
Check cashing services are available to guests who present valid identification, with a limit of $50 per day. Checks are subject to approval from TeleCheck.
Credit Card Policy
The hotel does accept credit card authorization forms as a method of payment. The form must be received prior to check-in. Our standard form can be faxed or emailed to the guest upon receipt of a request at email@example.com. We do require front and back copies of the credit card for processing.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
Gift Certificate Policy
Please contact the hotel directly to purchase or redeem gift certificates.
All cash-paying guests will be required to leave a $50 (per day) deposit upon check-in, which is to cover potential incidental charges (telephone calls, in-room movies, etc.). Any remaining unused balance will be refunded to the guest upon checkout.
Debit card users will have $50 (per day) deducted from their account, and the unused balance will be refunded to the guest. However, depending on the bank, it may take several days for the balance to appear in the guest’s checking account.
