Check-In & Checkout Policies
Early Departure Policy
An early departure fee of $75 applies to guests who check out prior to their scheduled departure date as confirmed at check-in. Please contact the hotel for further information.
The hotel is compliant with ADA. ADA compliant guest rooms are available. For TDD equipment setup or wheelchair needs, please call and speak with a front office manager or supervisor.
Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 21 years or older with valid identification.
Dogs 40 pounds and under are accepted and are only permitted in designated rooms on designated floors. Only two dogs are permitted to each designated guest room. Dogs must be accompanied by an owner at all times—on a leash or in a crate—and may not be left in a room without an owner present. Dogs over 40 pounds and other pets including cats, birds, and exotic animals are not permitted. Guests who violate this rule will be charged a 250 USD cleaning fee. A waiver explaining all pet policies must be signed at check-in.
In the summer (Memorial Day until Labor Day), dogs are not permitted on the beach, the boardwalk, or any area south of the street in front of the hotel, per Virginia Beach city ordinance.
Health & Well-Being Policies
All guest rooms and public space are 100% non-smoking. A 250 USD cleaning fee will be charged to any guest that violates this policy.
Check Cashing Policy
Check cashing services are available for SPG members only, with a valid drivers license. There is a limit of $50 per day.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
A valid credit card is required at check-in for payment of the room, tax and incidentals. If a guest is paying cash, a deposit equal to the room, tax and $25 per day will be collected at check-in.
For payment arrangements to a third-party credit card, please contact the hotel's front office manager on duty at least 24 hours prior to arrival.
