Humphrey's. Simply the best food and best value in La Jolla. We have tried just about every high end restaurant in La Jolla and nothing compares with Humphrey's. My wife ordered the Crab Martini appetizer over my objections because of the curry. Curry in crab??? When it came, I ordered another one. The Humphrey's Salad, spinich salad, macadamia encrusted halibut and Filet Mignon are all superb, in fact the best we ever had. The dressings and sauces used are a work of art. Most of the outstanding desserts are $3.00. Where do you find that in La Jolla? Entree's are also reasonable. Kudo's to Humphey's and their staff.--James.M
