New Orleans is one of my favorite places to visit. The history of the town, the beautiful buildings with their plant covered balconies, the music pouring out of the open doors as you walk down Bourbon. You can not go to New Orleans without a trip to a voodoo shop or a fresh beignet from Cafe DuMonde. A quick trip into the cathedral at Jackson Square is a great way to repent for the night before's sinful excursion to the nightlife of Bourbon Street. I never like to go to the 'usual' tourist places to eat, because there are so many places to choose from. I find it a fun adventure to just wander around the French Quarter and pick a new place each time, but the one place I always go is to the Clover Grill, a local diner on Bourbon street for breakfast. It is always full of locals, has steaming coffee and great chat. I am so happy to see tourists still flocking to such a beautiful place!--Catherine.P
