attended a symposium recently and the staff was great! hotel rooms were very nice and quiet. also a convenient location for local cultural and downtown activities.

The hotel lives up to the standards I have come to know and expect at Starwood Hotels. The staff was courteous and helpful and the hotel was clean and welcoming.

Everything about the room and hotel were nice. The bed was comfortable. The room was large and nicely decorated. The staff was responsive and respectful.

We had a problem in a previous stay thought it would get better. We only had a one hour wait this time not a two and a half hour wait the last time.

My room was not up to standard. The carpet was dirty and the air conditioning could not get the temp under 78 degrees. It was very uncomfortable.

Not up to SPG standards. Old rooms, easy to hear neighbors. Bed is comfy and staff is great, but the overall room and halls are well below par.

while not in town, it is still close enough to walk and feels good after a meal to walk a bit anyway. Club level is spacious and friendly staff

We chose the Sheraton Catering for our 40th Anniversary Celebration. We chose to stay at the hotel two nights but ran into snafus along the way that give us pause to want to return! The dinner was absolutely delightful and delicious! The hotel stay not so much! Our reservation was not combined as we were told it was (we made a special stop to combine our reservation with the one set up by our Catering Director). At check in we found that not to be the case and finding a King Suite was a challenge. The check-in staff was supposed to inform us of a Spa gift cert. that our children had provided for us. It was not. The fruit tray sent to our room with sparkling water bottles had no opener to open the bottles. No kleenex in the room. Housekeeping did not restock water bottles and lotion the 2nd morning. Our room AC was so loud we could not hear conversation, tv, or even the trains outside! And finally - to the decorator - the bed post of the lovely King bed is right in the middle of the tv screen when watching tv from the bed. To end on a positive note - Valet was outstanding! Our dinner was delightful. Catering & Events the star of this property.

Overall, the hotel was clean and comfortable, except for the one incident with dirty sheets/linen on the bed. Nice hotel.

I attended a statewide meeting at this hotel in August 2013. The meeting facilities were excellent. I noticed the meetings rooms could be adjusted to accomodate small to large groups. Other groups were at the hotel at the same time. About half the people attending this meeting brought family members to enjoy the attactions in Fort Worth and nearby. Though this hotel is downtown it is not centrally located to the downtown bars and restaurants-unless you are ready to walk several blocks. Everything is however a short cab ride or drive away. the hotel also has a shuttle available and will accomodate trabsportation requests. The Fort Wort Convention Center is about one short block from this hotel. Billy Bob's and the Stockyard entertainment area are four to five miles away. The TCU campus is about the same distance. My room was standard hotel-nothing outstanding about it at all. It was however very clean and well maintained. The bed and bedding were very nice and comfortable. The entire staff at the hotel was super. The manager introduced himself and not only recognized me days later but remembered my name. Overall the staff at this hotel is way above par-an excellent group!

This hotel appears very nice from the outside and even in the first floor lobby. However once you exit the elevator to the floor where your room will be located, it becomes obvious that this hotel needs to be updated. The hallways have a distinct smell to them, which I can only decribe as "old". The decorations followed in the same theme as the smell. Once inside the room things improved but not by much. The beds were comfortable and the temperature was easily controlled. That covers the positives. The bathroom was small with a no frills shower/tub and a toilet that appeared to have been removed from an airplane. The drains in both the tub and sink barely worked. At one point I thought I must have accidentaly closed the drain . The windows would have had a decent view if they were not cloudy from lack of washing. The TV was old and below what you would expect from a nice hotel. The customer service at the front desk was nice but subsequent responses including one to fix the "airplane" toilet were delayed. The valet is basically mandatory at a fairly steep price. Overall my wife was not happy with our stay which thankfully was only for one night. I will book elsewhere in future trips.
