I stay at the hotel two weeks every year. My last stay was the week of August 20th. The hotel seems full and the service was not a good as it normally is when I go there. The front desk seemed to be under staffed and the wait took a while. The food did not seem to be a good as in the past.

Rooms were runned down, bathroom grout rusty and nasty looking for Shereton.
Pool was overcrowded, other Hotel guest using pool area. Never was able to get a seat close to pool without reserving early in the morning, or paying (really?) for a seat, ridiculous! Drinks and food overpriced.

Had a great time - infinity pool fantastic and a "million dollar" view from here. Staff were fantastic, friendly and very helpful. Will definitley be back.

Stayed for 2 nights Jun 15-17, 2012. Was upgraded to top floor (31) with ocean view of Diamond Head. Very nice. I had asked for a suite when I checked in, but the room provided was very nice and clean. Lounge was nice and provided nice breakfast, but was only open from 6-10am and 4-8pm. Would have been nice to have access to the lounge during other hours to relax....especially since it was so windy during one of our days there. Lounge staff was great. I had stayed at this hotel a few times in years past, and they made some GREAT remodels, to include the adult only infiniti pool, seperate pool area for families with a water slide, nice lobby, and Rum Fire bar. Not sure if the resort charge is worth it at $25.00 per day, as were not able to take advantage of any resort activities, nor did we use the parking, and internet would have been included anyway as a lifetime platinum. Overall a nice hotel, great location, and friendly service. Thanks for honoring platinum status...as not all Starwood hotels do.

The hotel services and facilities are everything you would expect from a world class hotel group, day to day the resort was ran very well and staff professional at all times. The cleanliness of the room was not of a high standard though, a shame as it let our overall impression down.

I paid the daily resort charge and did not receive water bottle a couple days. when notifying the front desk 3 separate times to bring it up, they never did.
Also, as a Gold member, expected to have some additional amenity or service, but was only granted 1 visit to the club lounge.

For a terrific location and beautiful views, Sheraton Waikiki is a great find. Lots of uniques shopping opportunities on property (love the hat shop) and million more a stones throw away. Plenty to do or a great place to relax and enjoy the hotel amenities. Kind and responsive staff.

For the past 10 years, I spend 2-3 weeks at the Shearton Waikiki in February. I request the same room each year wtih a beautiful view of Diamond Head. The staff is wonderful from housekeeping to the front desk team. It's a great property for relaxation and sunshine.

The facility exceeds any other hotel on Waikiki Beach. Best pools and service, the Rum Fire lounge, the Edge Bar, your right there watching the turtles and beach activities.
From the front desk to guest services, you are treated with Aloha spirit and they make reservations happen.

Overall, an excellent experience. Only one criticism in that whatever hot items were served in the Leahi lounge on Floor 30 were tepid. I realize that, with people serving themselves, burn issues need to be addressed. However, tepid entrees and scrambled eggs are most unappetizing.

Best part of this hotel is the location, I stayed here 15 yrs ago and this hotel was elegant and charming, now the renovations have turned it into a shopping mall and it is now just another really nice hotel with a great location. Location is the most important thing.

Despite extensive renovations to the lobby and pool area the rooms (Maila Suite room 1844) just for eample or tired, worn out, dirty with ripped carpet, no water pressure, old furniture, filthy showers and toilets - all for $800 a night. But there are new flat screens in the room

We were upgraded to a mid size suite. It was run down and while the view was nice from the balcony, the rooms were dark and cave like. The bathroom was oddly very hot all the time too. Would have preferred the standard ocean facing room we booked on a high floor over this 'suite'

I made the same comments to hotels in Beijing but never thought I would make this comment to a US hotel. Most facilities in the hotel are as expected for a 5-star place in Wakiki. The service? remind me of my experience in Beijing-- the reception staff have no clue In managing customers in queue and can't function well handling conflicts. I waited in line and was standing in front of a front desk staff who couldn't turn on her computer. instead of directling us to other staff we were bypassed by many groups until I felt so disgusted of the chaos and complained . Com'on! I only expect this happening in china but not Wakiki. and then we were told that no room was available and I was asked to leave them my phone number. I didn't trust them by then and asked for a pager to page me when room is ready. I checked back near 3 pm and was told that the room was ready for a long time. I asked why there was no page and the staff just told me that they did not know that they have to page me. so frustrated. I don't even want to mention another chaotic situation about the hotel shuttle that booked via the hotel website. Listen, DO NOT book shuttle via the hotel web site. they showed up late, offered no excuse and simply don't care.
I rather stay in a more friendly place then a 5 -star hotel with no soul. I am disappointed as a Starwood member since 1994.
Tried the restaurant Rum Fire, totally understaffed and chaotic agian. one server looks after a large area. good for him/her to get all the 18%+ tips but the customers suffer. we waited for 20 minutes with zero services.
Back to Roberts Shuttle again. Upon chekcing out, I asked the hotel staff at front door where to wait for the Roberts Shuttle to aiport becasue i had paid for return tickets. the staff told me to just sit there and wait. Sat and watied, no shuttle coming, then they saked whether they should arrange a taxi for me. Then, it turns out the shuttle pick up is at the landing area behind the coffee stand.
OMG..... They get kick back from taxi to airport!!!!!!!!!!!! at my expenses.
This reflects very poor hotel management and a poor working customer first culture.

We love hawaii but the infinity pool made our vacation! Best view of diamond head and Waikiki beach. Adults only so there were no kids ! With the giant floating beanbags and the dj Saturdays!!! It was like a Vegas pool party without the drunks! And with a breathtaking view!!!

This is a very large hotel, lots of people.
Check-in long line as was check-out.
Close to shopping & restaurants.
Bell people were very helpful and nice.
Friday night the RumFire Bar is very loud we were on 8th floor and the noise was over the top till late that night. Saturday night, there was a prom and late at night 2 prom goers pounded on our door giggling and saying they were 'room service' plus they were running up and down the hallways later. Our friends down the hall from us called the front desk but didn't seem to help. Adult pool nice if you can get a chaise lounge. Family pool didn't seem to have any empty lounges either. We went over to the Royal Hawaiian for lunch one day and they can do a direct room charge there. Had breakfast there following morning. Decent food and service was good at RH. Not so noisy. Only had 1 meal at hotel -at theEdge Bar (lunch) pleasant enough, service satisfactory. Drinks at RumFire, service a bit inconsistent.
Enjoyed the hula and lei making classes.
This hotel doesn't have a gym or I didn't find it.
Good hotel for families, very busy. Would maybe stay there again.

Treated exceptionally well! Stayed overnight for my daughter's birthday. Staff and facitlities were amazing.
The front desk staff of Chirstine, Allison and Jennifer was exceptional! The host and attendants (Stephanie) in the Executive lounge were very friendly and helpful.

The room I was given seemed to be in the "old" portion of the hotel facing the front. The room itself was like an older motel room, not what I would expect for the cost of this facility. The windows were butting up to a flat roof, not even a city view. Very disappointing.

The only bad thing i can say about this hotel is that so many people want to check into it that it gets a little busy. But, lines are never too long, and I've never felt overcrowded at any point. I stay here whenever i visit waikiki.

Had problems 1st day when my family checked in & with the AC and Bed. The Hotel staff specially the Manager (Sheri Thomas) was excellent and was able to resolve the issues the following day. MY Family had one of the best experiences.

The Sheraton is our preferred Waikiki hotel. It has a great location and is good value for money. But we do not like the resort fee and can see no need for it. Why should we have to pay for parking, which we do not need?

Great and easy location for the beach, shopping and dining. As an SPG Gold, I got a nominal upgrade (as per the normal upgrades I tend to see,) but had a great sunset with partial ocean view. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the staff was very warm and welcoming.

The view from the lanai on Diamond Head side was fabulous! Cleansed all the troubles and frustrations as I sat there on the deck chair and drank a bottle of Hawaiian beer!

Upon checking in the room was dirty had used soap and wash clothes in bathroom. After calling front desk instead of sending someone to clean room, they sent sheets and new bathroom washcloths and towels. Had to go to front desk to request to be moved to another room.

Wonderful hotel at the end of Waikiki Beach. Great access to all the amenities of Waikiki as well as the ability to get away from the madness if you choose. Best pools in Waikiki and a terrific staff that was helpful all over the property. Would absolutely return.

The Sheraton Waikiki is in a perfect location, right in the middle of all of the action of Kalakaua Avenue. Rooms are very small and have this peculiar "feature" of having shutters on a bathroom wall. RimFire is great, but the Edge bar feels very cramped.
